Governor Chris Dudley?

Are you of the opinion that what the State of Oregon needs is another Governor who has spent their live in government? I think I'd prefer someone who understands how difficult it is to do business in this State. I'm not saying that's Duds, but the last thing I want is someone who sees the solution to every problem as more government.

As for understanding economics, he did graduate with a 3.3 from Yale with a concentration in Economics. So, while he may not be Milton Friedman, my guess is he understands what a Dead Weight Loss is.

I guess he did double major in poly sci and economics. But, I don't like tax cuts to get jobs. The company will leave as soon as you remove the tax cuts.

I hope Duds has a strong platform, and I wish him well. It's neat how he's moved back to Portland (Oregon) and wants to be involved in our political system.

At this point there is no compelling reason for anyone to vote for him UNLESS they simply vote Republican party line....and that is their ONLY criteria for selecting a candidate.

Up until now he has been completely silent on his platform or agenda, and at his announcement only repeated vague republican platform stuff.
