GP2 underwent an off season procedure

So we're nearing the halfway point in the season and no GP3 still. With the lack of communication on this, I'm not buying the "season conditioning" excuse. Dame was back for preseason, and if I'm not mistaken, both he and GP3 had the same abdominal surgery at the same time. This to me sounds like there's more to what ails him than what we're being led to believe. Is there an ancillary injury I'm forgetting? I know we're in this for the long haul with GP3, but this season started with so much promise and he would have been a difference maker in 10 games or more. I'm just frustrated - we need him.
Dame's surgery was in January. GP2 had his in July.

Has anyone checked to see if one of GP2's legs is longer than the other?

Getting Grant was the prize of the offseason.

Relax people. He'll be back soon and he'll have an impact when it matters most.
He'd have had to play once for him to "be back", but I'm with ya. He was more impactful in the postseason last year for the warriors than he was in the regular season, so as long as that trend continues, who cares. We just need to make the playoffs...

I wouldn't be surprised if he made his debut against the Warriors. I also wouldn't be surprised if he didn't.

I wondered about that. The flip side is he might not want to get embarrassed in front of the GS crowd since it would be his first game back....and more than likely a little rusty.

I wish everyone would chill out on this. The team and GP2 himself have said that he's making sure that he's 100% when he starts playing in games again. That's why they haven't listed him as injured but instead have been listing him as being out for conditioning. I don't think this is some conspiracy (however much people love those these days) and I think it's pretty simple.

GP2 and the team have made the decision that they want him to start playing in games when he can make the team better, not play into making the team better.
