OT Greatest Sports Movies

I'm sure there are some decent soccer movies out there, but "Bend it Like Beckham" is the only one I can think of.

There are also a lot of good golf movies, but listing them here would require acknowledging golf as a sport, so I refuse.

Grouping by sport, baseball pretty inarguably has the best pantheon of movies: Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, A League of Their Own, Major League, Moneyball, The Rookie, 42, 8 Men Out, just to name a few...but for my money, probably my favorite underrated baseball movie is "For Love of the Game".
I still quote Bull Durham!

This was actually pretty good.

the mean kid from White Water Summer!! We've just entered the Kevin Bacon algorithm
Kevin Bacon beat up the kid from Goonies, who became a hobbit after playing football at Notre Dame, then he worked with Orlando Bloom, who raced cars with Djimon Hounsou in Gran Turismo, who tried to kill Kurt Russell in Stargate, and Kurt was the voice of Elvis in Forrest Gump, and Forrest Gump was an all-American football player for Alabama !!

BEST SPORTS MOVIES - Rocky, Creed, Field of Dreams, Major League, Bad News Bears (OG ONLY), Caddyshack, Tin Cup, Sandlot, League of their Own, White Men Can't Jump, The Wrestler, The Iron Claw (if you count wrestling as a sports movie), Karate Kid,

SPORTS MOVIES I LOVE BUT AREN'T GREAT MOVIES- Varsity Blues, Happy Gilmore, The Program, BASEketball, Blue Chips, Dodgeball

SPORTS MOVIES THAT ARE VASTLY OVERRATED- Rudy, Moneyball, Remember the Titans, Rookie of the Year
