Something tells me you forgot the green font. Nash's career high was 22 assists in a game, he did it one time. So, 24 apg never happened, not even close. His career high for a season was 11.6 apg.
I thought you may have been confusing Nash and Stockton. Stockton racked up a lot more assists than Nash. His career best was 14.5 apg. He did have multiple 24+ assist games over the course of his 19-year NBA career, but even the great John Stockton ever had more than one 24+ assist game in any single season.
Magic Johnson is the only player to record two 24+ assist games in a single season. He had two games of exactly 24 assists during the 1990-91 season.
There have only been 12 - 24+ assist games in the history of the NBA - as noted, none of them by Steve Nash.
Yeah so, Dame averaging 24 apg would be cool, but it would also be cool if he averaged 64 ppg and the team went 82-0, but those things aren't happening either. Lillard's good, but he's not that good.
