Obviously, 285 is too much and even he admits this.

250 for his frame could be too light.

This summer Coach McMillan said he wants Oden at 260-265. He wants him lean.

In other words, he wants Oden to be lean like Mourning opposed to being bulky like Shaq..

I agree the 260-265 range is probably the best. I think at least no more then 270. I like Oden big and powerful but with Oden's knee and now with his ankle/foot I think being 270 or less would help him stay healthy. I like how Oden played defense at OSU and he was a lot faster to respond to blocking shots of other players outside of his own man.

I think a lot people compare him to Zo, so it make sense for greg to be around 260 but anything over that its too much imo

Greg is so strong that even if he cuts down he will still be dominant because of his strength. It's not like his extra bodyfat is making him stronger or more of a force. Sure weight helps, but in this case his strength will compensate.

Alonzo measured 6'9.5 barefoot at his predraft while Greg came in at 6'11. He claims to have grown a 1/2 inch since as well.

KP stated he was down in the 275 range for the start of this season. 265-275 seems about right to me.

Oden's ideal weight is whatever weight will keep him healthy for a season. :pimp:
