Nets Notes
Vince Carter is currently 13 points shy of moving past Kerry Kittles (7,096 points)
into fourth on the Nets all-time scoring list.

Richard Jefferson?€™s 20 points vs. Phoenix on 3/29 moved his 2007-08 season
into sixth on the Nets all-time single season scoring list
as he now has 1,752 points on the year, which bests Drazen Petrovic?€™s
1991-92 season (1,691 points) and Mike Newlin?€™s 1980-81
season (1,688 points)?€? next up for Jefferson is Bernard King?€™s
1978-79 season when he had 1,769 points.
Vince Carter set the team record for points in a season last year,
when he finished the 2006-07 campaign with 2,070 points.

If the Nets win tonight they will complete the season series sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers?€?
if the Nets complete the sweep it will
mark only the third time in franchise history that
the Nets have swept the Cavaliers in a season series?€?

Many would consider Devin Harris to be having a career year, as he is averaging
career highs in points (14.9), assists (5.7), rebounds
(2.6) and steals (1.37), but with his recent string of career highs, Harris has
taken his game to new levels over the past three weeks?€?
Harris has even bested new personal highs that he has set for points and assists,
as his 27 points at Indiana on 3/28 bested the 26
points he scored vs. Atlanta on 3/19 and his 15 assists vs. Indiana on 3/26
trumped the 13 assists he had vs. Denver on 3/21

Lottery Watch

"A Hawk win Tuesday and a Net loss Wednesday could end the Nets?€™ six-year playoff run.
The Hawks?€™ magic number is two."
<div align='right'>-Nets Daily

<div align='center'>Prediction: Cleveland has lost two games in a row, and should be motivated to stay ahead of Washington for playoff seeding.

This is turning into a lame-duck part of the Nets season untill the draft,
so in order to give you all something to look forward to, I will borrow a page from the Raptors board's game thread:

Hopefully my boy Swift gets another 27 minutes tonight
I'll be watchin'...

I would not bet against the Nets winning tonight. The Cavs have been nothing short of awful recently. And their famous 4th Quarter comebacks? They've scored 27 points in the past two 4th quarters combined. LeBron is suffering with a back injury, and I really would not be surprised to see them lose by 10 or so tonight.

i'm going to have to miss the game tonight, if anybody's recording highlights from the game i'd appreciate anything i could get of swift. i usually do it myself but tonight i can't.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>Lebron to Play vs. Nets
April 9, 2008, 3:35 pm The Nets have beaten Cavs twice this season with Lebron James on the court. They will have to do it again tonight. A little rest was all James needed to recoup from a strained back. The Cavaliers are trying to wrap up the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference and home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Ummm....

YES! Looks like we could be moving in the lottery some time soon!!! Chicago plays Orlando
...but the Bobcats face the Knicks. Although, the Knicks did beat the Pistons(' scrubs) last night.

what are the chances that the nets make the playoffs. cuz if atl loses 3, and the nets win all 4 theyll make it. idk much about this but there still is a chance right. i hate philly cuz they were at the bottom After the all star break, and they got a few wins and are way farther than us. and indiana too ? since when did they get more wins than nj ??

I really hate the Nets right now.

Where the fuck was this good shooting, fast running team earlier when the 8th seed was realistic.

Its crazy to see Vince playing this well while obviously in pain out there.

I agree, zero.

I wake up to see the Nets winning. How did that happen?

LEbron is fouled every 12 seconds and Swift and VC get no call when they try to take the basket down.

RJ's shot selection is so awful. His jumpers are not even open ones.

Blew a big lead in half a quarter. VC plays a great first half then doesn;t touch the ball for 9 minutes. RJ should not be the focal point damn it.

and we also keep giving the ball to Jefferson omg he cant create wtf

Game over wow 0 for 14, we can't find the F'in basket oh and for the record no one can blame it on Marcus

When we blow a game we really blow it. We can't just blow the lead, we have to blow and then lose by double digits. 5% shooting in the quarter. Amazing. That wasn't a flagrant. If VC went up for that shot they wouldnt even blow the whistle.

someone please explain why marcus is guarding Lebron and left to grad defensive rebounds with Big Z???
