well done PtldPladdderpus.
here is my next one. It's old country. I chose not to use the introduction sentence because with it, it's hard to not give away the title.
Music would play, and she would spin.
She had very dark eyes, wicked, evil and I believe magic.
I loved her deeply, but while i was in love, I did not believe it was mutual.
There was once a cowboy who came into town. Very wild personality.
Ooozing bravado, shared a drink with my woman, who I loved.
I was mad and challenged him to a dual over her. He dropped his hand and picked up his pistol.
A second later though, I had killed him.
For a second, I was completely taken back by what I did.
My mind was flush with confusion, so I took off running.
I left the bar, and jumped on a horse I found.
It was a fast horse, and I left this town, and arrived in Mexico.
Back home, I would have no meaning to life.
It's been years since I saw my love, and I no longer fear death.
So I rode, alone, back into town. I don't care if I'm shot, my heart yearns for her.
Finally I am overlooking the area where my crime of passion occurred.
But my love for my lady is stronger than my fear of death, so I go on.
I'm surrounded by men looking to kill me.
They shoot at me, yell at me, but I keep going. Must make it to her.
Ouch, I think I've been shot.
I am in great pain, and I can't handle it. but I love her, and I must continue. No rest for the wicked!
I see a shot blast, and ouch, my chest!
From out of nowhere, my love see's me and she kisses me.
The woman I'd die for, she holds me.
I kiss her, goodbye.
This one should be obvious too (at least, if you're a fan older country music)
