How much do y'all pay?

I'm at LA Fitness for $9 bucks a month. don't really go that much...club is kind of ghetto and so are the peeps in there and the facilities.....if you go to a nice club, are you more likely to work out more regularly? thinking of ditching LA Fitness and joining the Spectrum club or Equinox....which is a little more expensive..might be worff if I use it more though.

signed up freshman year of college. put $200 down which back then was a lot..otherwise i'd be paying $19 or $29 a month. LA Fitness, all clubs...even the ones in Oregon. Dunno, just don't like the ones near me though.

problem is the good gyms are about $100 a month. But i might actually use them though.

$19/month at Bally's, but I get to go to any facility in the US, including the 10+ in the Portland-metro area.

Wilsonville or west Portland for hoops, Lake O for running, Mall 205 for swimming, and Yamhill/3rd for the hotties.

Depends on where my day takes me, I guess.

ClubSport, eh? I have people wanting me to join there. Seems like a bunch of out of shape old folks the few times I've played hoops there or lifted weights there.

It's a club now called Forza, but used to be called the Athletic Club at Denver Place. When I'm in Oregon, however, we have a family membership to Club Sport.

Mizzou Rec. Supposedly it got voted best Rec Center in the nation by ESPN. Although I'm not sure how accurate that was, because when I was at Texas, I thought their rec center blew the crap out of ours. Although I guess ours probably has a customer service edge...but their facility, just looking at the facility, was so much nicer.

Yeah, but only because a manager of mine from a few years ago had a membership there. I really wasn't too impressed with their facitlities.

I'm at a private athletic club in Vancouver. Don't pay, my parents still have me on their account. Pretty nice place, tons of cougars and mirrors galore so I can be as narcissistic as possible.

A nice club or a shitty club has no dependency on how lazy you are. Its all about motivation.

Yeah, that place is decked out with anything you need. A friend from high school's dad manages that place. Country club type atmosphere. Good pickup games always going on there.

Thinking about joining this Spectrum Club....down in El Segundo....its really nice. I love having towel service..the equipment is all modern..only downside its $105 a month...but might do it....this is a place I can go to frequently...pretty upscale, lots of chicks, 2 bball courts (ONE HAS A REFEREE AND ELECTRONIC SCOREBOARD FOR PICKUP GAMES). crazy stuff.

The one thing that I always loved about YMCA was the racquetball courts...24/hr will never have that. That's a great deal. Been with them for a long time?
