Was coming back from breakfast and jumped in the same elevator as Westbrook. I told him I hope they lose tonight. He said, "nah man this will be an easy win". Then he asked "you really think you guys are gonna win?!". I said "well yeah I always think we are gonna win!"

Then I told him "no worried man we will get you this this offseason". He said "it's too late for that now!". I laughed and told him "well good luck tonight". He replied "appreciate it!"
 
This board's biggest homer and that pompous fool in an elevator? Sounds like a sitcom to me. :biglaugh:
 
You guys should have seen all of the Durant fanboys standing outside of the hotel waiting for KD to come out yesterday.

westbrook seems cool though, id rather a guy have too much fire than not enough...
 
No offense taken. He's actually a cool guy. Even gave me the brother hand shake with the side man hug.
 
I don't understand my luck. Last time coming I was in the hotel room right next door to Andre miller then end up in the same elevator as westbrook
 
You should be telling him what an awesome organization the Blazers are to be employed with.

Mags, if I could take some of your rep away, I would - you certainly deserve it. After he said it should be an easy win, you should have said something like, "Yeah, as long as the refs help you out again." Or, "If not for a refs admitted mistake, Blazers would be 2-0 on OKC this year."

You should have tolm him he's the man and he needs to shoot more - especially in the 4th quarter; he's Batman, Durant is Robin and Hardin is Alfred the butler.

That would've been rad, too. Just elaborate the hell out of Westbrook being Batman, he's the man, he doesn't need Durant, Durant ain't got shit on him... Just feed that ego. If anyone from their core 6-7 players ruins the team chemistry, I'd expect it's going to be Westbrook and his ego.
 
I would have just farted, waited till someone else got on the elevator and then pointed at Westbrook.
