Also, I'm not on the Clinton bandwagon, so Im not sure why I'd be "butt hurt" over her slightly lower #'s.

Hillary's the next president. Democrat voters learned in the 90s to not fall for paperwork errors ("Travelgate") portrayed as scandals. We don't give a shit whether she ran her e-mail through her own e-mail (quite openly, no secret).

Republican voters fall for a TV entertainer who is funny, but the CIA won't let him become President.

One party's voters refuse to fall for a scam; the other party's voters gleefully do so.
 
Wow, Mags. You're out of touch. It is much more likely the next 2 presidents will be Democrat than the reverse. Republicans are out of touch with Hispanics, gay rights, women issues. They will not win another presidency until their platform shifts. Republicans are fucked right now. They should be begging for my vote and for the women vote but they insist on turning us away. If Trump wins the nomination, he is Sarah Palin Part 2. NO CHANCE of winning the general. He can't win and either can Carson. Republicans best chance is Jeb but he's not catching on in the polls. Or Carly/Rubio but it's doubtful that would happen. It'll probably be Hillary and I'm thrilled with that.

That was a personal attack. Not sure why you needed to say that. Bottom line: when the swimsuit competition is over, Trump is gonna have to participate and win in the talent portion of the event. This is where he will fail.

this is why candidates are just trolling each other on TV. it's all a popularity contest. why do americans think the president should be focusing on social issues at all? i had the same argument with my overly religious parents who voted romney last election. why? because he doesnt want gays to marry? like how is that even an issue that involves the president? why is government the moral police now? they were supposed to protect our rights not decide what our rights are.

actually the executive branch is supposed to enforce the law. the legislative branch is supposed to create law. but why are laws involving our rights even made? we are already afforded our rights via the bill of rights and the declaration of independence.

that right there trumps any gay marriage argument. if kingspeed's pursuit of happiness leads him to another man who the fuck are we to tell him he cant pursue that?

therefore you cannot REQUIRE a church marry a homosexual couple. however, they are free to start their own church and marry or be married by the state as the state has no right to discriminate. why you would want a biggot to marry you forcibly is beyond me.

I agree that the federal government shouldn't mess with our rights, but there are some dated issues that our forefathers didn't take into account. Things like slavery and rights to vote.

and those things were changed in future amendments by the judicial branch whose job it is to interpret law and decide whether or not those laws are bull shit. like i said, look at that first line in the declaration of independence and it trumps slavery and denying the right of any citizen to vote.
 
the problem is presidents can issue executive orders and go over the heads of the legislative branch. i think there should be law that states when a president issues an executive order he should submit it with his resignation. that way the only time they submit an executive order is when they believe so strongly something needs to be done they are willing to forfeit their position in office.
 
Executive orders are only possible if congress passes some law that allows related orders.

The Declaration of Independence is not binding to any of our laws.
 
The scariest thing about the election so far is Huckabee has 5% support. What morons would support him? He's godawful.
