in this year's draft will be out of the league in 3 years.

What? Looking at the last 3 drafts, Joe Alexander is the only top 10 pick not in the NBA.

Since the NEW YORK KNICKERBOCKERS aren't drafting in the top 10, there's a slight chanceability that you are correct. I would even perchance extend that to say the Top Eleven, since the Portland Trail Blazers have two of the picks. They confuse every fiber of my brainly being with their choices. Obviously something's going on there, because they don't have a plan, or an idea. I have no clue what they're doing, and neither do they.

CHEESY POOFS!

Sly, where the fuk have U been, pre draft workups?

I tried to workout for a couple of NBA teams but then I found out thedraft doesn't go past 2 rounds. My b-ball skills have 8th round draft pick written all over them.

Bet you a beer that half of this year's Top 10 draft picks don't get offered a NBA contract after their rookie contract is up.

shit, U couldn't make it past two rounds of drinkin? - my friend U R seriously out of shape!

I'll match you shot for shot at the Blazer draft party and then we'll heckle the shit out of Mike and Mike.

Mike Rice is an absolute genius. Much respect for the brain on that coaching legend. If only you could get Mister Barrett to be more realistic in his commentary, or realize that Rice and Antonio are the stars of that operation, THAT'D BE GOLD!

What 5 players are you seeing as bust? Drummond is risky, but I think he'll still be better than a Thabeet.

Any player of the Caucasian prospectus has no business being in the lottery. I'm only giving Austin Rivers a pass because his paternal sire was a member of the NEW YORK KNICKERBOCKERS for 99 glorious games.

Just say no to Leonard and whichever one of those cornfed Zeller boys it is this draft

No clue, I'm just not in love with this draft like a lot of people are.

Gotta say in 4 years sly, gotta wait for there rookie contracts to be up.

Weasel alert: he didn't say whether the same team has to make the offer.

Otherwise I'd ante him up from a beer to $100,000.

This surprises me, Sly. It might not have the star power of other drafts, but every so called expert seems to think it's deep with solid players

The only two players I can see as even having a chance to be that much of a bust are Drummond and Henson... maybe Terrence Ross.

Can you speak louder? We can't hear you.

He said first 10 picks. While some team desperate for a big may reach for Leonard or Zeller, neither is projected to go top 10.

I actually think both will be decent, but not great. Not all stars, but eventually middling starters. There is a huge shortage of decent starting centers in the league right now. In spite of his skin color, Leonard is incredibly athletic for a 7-footer and Zeller has decent skills and runs the floor well. Again, nothing to get too excited about, but I don't think either will be a total bust and be out of the league after their initial rookie contract (barring career ending injuries).

Terrence Ross doesn't belong on your list ... he's got a sweet, sweet shot and size for his position, he'll be fine.

once again, take the EZ beer Sly is offering here!

Seems like a pretty safe bet. If you look back at three of the weakest drafts in recent memory, they all saw more than 5 of the top 10 make it past their rookie deal.

In the 2006 draft, only 3 players (Adam Morrison, 3rd pick; Patrick O'Bryant, 9th pick and Mouhamed Sene, 10th pick) didn't make it past their rookie contracts.

2002 again saw 3 of the top 10 flame out - 2 due to injuries/illness (Jay Williams at 2 and Dejuan Wagner at 6 - although he did try to comeback, got a 10-day contract and played in one game for Golden State) and one due to general suckage (Nikoloz Tskitishvili at 5).

In the 2000 draft (generally considered the weakest draft of the lottery era), the year Mike Miller won ROY, all 10 players made it past their rookie contracts (although Marcus Fizer BARELY made it, he signed a one year deal with Milwaukee, but only played in 3 games).

I can't think of a single draft in the last 20 years where more than half the top 10 didn't stick in the league beyond their initial rookie contract.

I accept Sly's bet and urge everyone else to also. I think when the time comes, it will be cheaper and easier for him to just host a kegger.
