Hey @theprunetang is that tropical storm/possible hurricane going to be anywhere near you?
dude he's in Florida...that's what you do in Florida....cause plywood shortages and dodge typhoons...why would anyone build a wooden house there is beyond me...they should all be cement..New Orleans too

Hey @theprunetang is that tropical storm/possible hurricane going to be anywhere near you?
It is probably going to hit a bit east of here. The storm will probably hit my research sites. But, the breeding season is over and if anything it will clear some of the vegetation that has been building on those sites.

I love Virgos but Leos win every time.....sorry...Virgos are the best original thinkers on the planet though but Leo's will sell those thoughts to the masses
I am fine with that tradeoff. I hate dealing with the business side of things and would rather create. We use each other.

We Leo's tend to spechify and improvise but we can all hold our liquor

You got the birthday right, but it's Aaron. Chris was in the band with me and I'm pretty sure he is the one that shipped your cd to you. Thanks man. Today has been great. Finalized insurance, bought a car, finalized a room to live in in Ladd's Addition, and got a job waiting for me in Portland at Cheese Bar and the Cheese Annex at Commons Brewery, and I didn't even have to use my AK. Today was a good day.

Damn. I just assumed the note was you. :)

Like I said, there was a lot of cough syrup involved.

Robitussin DM? In Germany, we used to call it "LRP-ing" as in "going on a Long Range Patrol," lol...

You nailed it. We would drink a bottle of that, make weird nonsensical rap music, laugh infinitely and then go shoot hoops. It was fun. But I am definitely that guy you wouldn't want the Blazers to sign.

Damn... all we did after finishing a bottle of family Robitusin was punch each other in the face and laugh our asses off... until the next morning...

I got you a hurricane for your birthday.
Yeah. It's coming. It shouldn't be too bad here in Panama City. All of the sites that we monitor are south and east of here and should get blasted. But, the breeding season is over and I don't expect too much damage to the bird populations. In fact our sites in Franklin County like St George and St Joseph have become heavilt vegetated from years and years without hurricanes. They could probably use it.

I really hope you got like a Geo Metro or something crazy shitty. Happy day late birthday though man.

Happy Birthday dude. May you're next album go to the top of I-Tunes and your merchtable sell out.

I wouldn't wish a Geo Metro on my worst enemy. It's an older car, but it is in really nice condition. 98 Civic. Getting a really good deal on it as well.

Older Civics are about as good as you can get. I bought an 89' hatchback about a decade ago. Replaced the muffler and thats it. 5 years later sold it for $500 more than I paid for it. Civics are hot items amongst do it yourself mechanics.

Thanks man. It will take some time to get a new band up and running, but I'm looking forward to building something new and formidable.

Swil has many great drummers lined up wanting to join, but we cant find a solid bass player. hint hint. :)

A Bass Player with backing vocals would take us to that next level, FYI

I wasn't planning on getting a car. I haven't had one in about 6 years. But, a botanist that I work with offered his car for 500 dollars. He has driven it like an old man for 10 years and had taken great care of it. He has a list of every service, maintenance, and repair on the car with the date, the applicable information and the mileage at the time of said maintenance. I drove it for about 2 hours as a test and it is silky smooth. My only gripe is that it's not a manual. I love shifting for some reason. Makes me feel one with the vehicle.

But yeah, I could buy a 500 dollar plane ticket, it buy a really sweet car for the same price and spend a little extra on gas to get back.

I've never played bass in a band, but am always up for new things. When I get back, I'm going to play keys and backups for a pre-existing band fronted by my old drummer from Here Come Dots. I'll be starting a new band to get my writing out with a really good drummer I have worked with in the past, and my other guitarist from Here Come Dots. I'll be looking for a bass player as well, and a 5th member who can play keys, run a sampler, pay backup percussion, and sing backup vocals. Sometimes I wish I could clone myself.

I have zero experience playing any instruments, my rhythm makes Navin R. Johnson look like Gregory Hines, and I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.

But I do like to get a buzz and laugh, so let me know if that's enough of a resume...
