Possible that the mouse might have contaminated the food? Causing the guests to get sick?

They probably just got sick because they’re vegan and their digestive track is weak from eating like a finch

Only two guests are vegan.
The mouse didn't contaminate anything.
One of my vegan friends is getting chemo. That is why she couldn't attend. Not because she doesn't eat eggs. I brought them a bag of stuff from the dinner.

My MiL had 50 people at her house this year ... biggest Thanksgiving they've had in awhile, typically around 40 of us. Had a spiral cut ham, two roasted turkeys, a fried turkey and my smoked turkey (I'll let you guess which one was gone first, but let's just say my time spent at the smoker was not in vein). Add in all the trimmings including adding a 2nd MaC by yours truly with Tillamook cheese that was gone in a hurry. Add in a little work, some football and only one uncle that got schwasted (but still made it up at 8 am for his shift the next day) and it was a pretty good Thanksgiving.
