As annoying as things got over there the last couple of years I was active over there since 2000-2001. It's pretty amazing that a lot of folks were there for that period of time as well. We can have a nice new place to post here and hopefully some never people come by. I refuse to go any further with silly board battles between fans of the same damn team. Post here or post where you feel comfortable. It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. To turn it into something personal is beyond belief to be honest. It's a message board not life or death.

Yeah, pretty crazy. I spent a good portion of the last 10 years on that site, will certainly miss it. Even with the robustness. Hope this site can carry on the tradition.

I admit I will miss some of the boards over there. The main NFL board and the New York boards were certainly a lot of fun. The different characters on the NFL forum alone will be impossible to duplicate. Unfortunately, robustness chased some long time people away a while back. I never knew where they decided to go.

I started over there in 03 and yes I've seen several posters go by the waist side since there so called improvement years. Now I look forward to this site taking off. So far this board is looking real good. Hopefully the other sports teams will follow suit.

I got one final banning for good measure.

I was never reinstated from the last time I got banned 5-6 days ago. I even tried using one of my old SNs but no good. SHIT! & there was so much I wanted to say before they locked the doors.

ha ha ha ha me too. I'm not even sure why I was banned this time which is no surprise. It's just time to let go.

I think everyone is just hanging now waiting for the plug to be pulled.

You can have the same thing here, its just going to take some time. We are not going anywhere.

At least this way you have some posters you are familiar with.

This is true & I've no doubt that once the other sports start up we'll be getting a lot more members.

Out with the old, in with the new. Here is to the next 10 years of winning and writing about it!

...in a way, I'm glad the espn board is closing...the board will obviously be fragmented to a degree...but every now and then, a good blood letting is a good thing.

...I don't regret posting there for 14 years...but I won't miss it either.

A few people stopped posting completely and just went to facebook... I'm friends with remembermunson15, Bosman4NYY, YankeeInMD, and ElCheesoKingo... I was friends with cspades99 for a while, but I think he unfriended me because of my political views...

Those guys are some of my favorite posters, any chance you can invite them over here just to say hello.

I'll let them know, but like I said, they have stopped posting (as far as I'm aware)

I am moving on. espn since its inception has lost millions of followers. it is
not the end all for sports. they never really think of the consumer with their varied programming. sports' focus strayed from the 'game' to sports' personalities.
really? who gives a shit. So, if you ask me, I will not miss the espn perpetual bullshit.

remembermunson15 says hello... he is going to try to stop in at some point...

I just had one final name banned at ESPN for no reason at all. I'm officially done. What's being posted is just a bunch of nonsense anyway.
