“He’s a beast, man. The league better get ready,” Harden told CSNNW.com. “He knows what his job is, he knows what he’s great at and he does it to the best of his ability. T-Rob is a very hard worker, an excellent rebounder and he’s definitely skilled for someone of his size. I have no doubt about it that he’ll turn his career around in Portland.”

Now this gets me excited!

Considering the source, this is a star player who has had the opportunity to practice and play with T-Rob on a daily basis, has no real motive to hype him up, and isn't known for saying this about all players. Got to believe those are genuine words from someone who would know. Starting to get excited about Robinson . . .

Says the guy (Harden) who also wants Lamarcus Aldridge on his team... :sherlock:

I don't trust that cat... :devilwink:

Lmao good catch! Let's talk up Robinson so the blazers think it's okay to trade them Aldridge! Hahaha

Did we get Thomas Robinson in hoping he can take Aldridge place on the team some day?

I sure like the quote from Harden. Maybe Olshey has pulled off another brilliant move?

Time will tell. He's a bit undersized for PF and still pretty raw. Playing behind LA will be good for him.

There is nothing that stands out with him offensively, that could change. But defensively and rebounding, I see a bit of Buck Williams in him.

I see a lot of Buck in him overall. T-Rob obviously has some work to do, but Buck wasn't some super-fluid offensive player. He did develop a nice 12-foot shot, but mostly, he earned his points by playing around the basket and cleaning up or getting open where his teammates could dish him the ball. He learned enough moves to finish down low. I believe T-Rob can match this.

But as you say, his D and rebounding is there. I expect this pick up to be pretty big for us.

Sweet

How many good games do you give it off the bench before there's more than the normal amount of trade LMA threads? 3? 5? I'll set the over under at 10.

I see more BGrant than Buck!

I can see that.

Think Robinson is more spry than Grant which makes him more like Buck.

This. More spry. More fluid. Not that Grant didn't have a nose for the ball, but Buck and T-Rob have that and are relentless tracking down loose balls.

From a height weight standpoint, I see where HCP comes from

Just his style reminds me of BG. His sticktoitofness...... His hustle...... No real post game, but he'll scrap!
