Re: Harrison FUCKING Barnes

I've got a good feeling about Lillard. This league is dominated by athletic guards who can create their own shot. That's Lillard in a nut shell. If you really want a Harrison Barnes, you could always trade for Rudy Gay or Danny Granger. I hear they're both available.

I think this thread needs another bump

I prefer to see the ones you originally posted rather than the ones you replaced them with 9 months later.

I'd like to say, trust the professional Blazer staff who spent hundreds of hours scouting these guys, but how many times have Blazer fans been right over the Blazer management? Too often over the last 5 years!

I guess he didn't notice that someone had quoted him when he edited his post many months later

Re: Harrison FUCKING Barnes

Interesting that you bring up Martell. That's my NBA comparison for Barnes.

Still kinda wanna stick to this, although Barnes will be better. But not too much better than Marty

Re: Harrison FUCKING Barnes

Well, I finally read this thread. Treaty of Batum was right. Olshey lied that he would draft Best Player Available. This is true even if, at the moment he drafted, he thought Lilliard was BPA. How can that be, you say? Because everyone (media, agent, etc.) knew days in advance that Olshey would take Lilliard no matter what (according to links in this thread, and also everything we read right before the draft) (Leonard, too, knew he'd be a Blazer, since he wore Blazer colors to the draft, like Lilliard).

Olshey, like Pritchard used to, fixated on a player and drafted him regardless of any available surprise players still undrafted. But at least Pritchard had the sophistication to make trades and move us up. Olshey approached this draft wiith a big Duh on his face, told everyone exactly who he wanted, and made no trades. A simple person.

Now I see why you settled on being a gimmick poster.

Harrison Barnes in the '14 playoffs:
22.3 mpg, 7.9 ppg, 39.6 fg%, 56.2 ft% (16 total attempts), 4 rpg

A star in the making!

...now is your chance Draco, your boy Harrison "Fucking" Barnes is going to be sending out free autographs this summer! You better hurry. #BarnesOverLillard

Golden State Warriors forward Harrison Barnes promises to fill his offseason with staying in shape, playing video games and signing autographs.

Barnes announced on his Facebook page on Friday that he is implementing an autograph policy that will allow his fans to get his signature, free of charge, in the offseason.

I swear internet posters get more grief if a player they wanted doesn't pan out, or if they think 'player x' is going to be better than 'player y' than the GMs who actually drafted them. ;)

Did this really need to be bumped?

I was going to post the new article, but Hack beat me. But I would have been sarcastic. The article is an ad for Harrison Fuckin' Barnes. Getting his autograph--he won't charge money!--is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Jump on this rare opportunity!

Re: Harrison FUCKING Barnes

Olshey didn't pick any of them, and Babbitt was the only lottery pick.

(Just calling Babbitt a lottery pick makes me feel icky.. Hopefully I don't feel that way about Leonard in 2 years.)

It's been 2 years, icky.

2 years from now Harrison Barnes will be playing for the All Star team.

Harrison was huge in a big game tonight. 24pts 7Rbs. led a big 9-2 run that pushed the lead to 15. Not saying it was a mistake but I wish we had this kid!

Ha, totally called this bump.

Re: Harrison FUCKING Barnes

I tell you one thing I belive and that is Lillard has a better chance of being that go to guy than Barnes. Part of it is because of the position he plays. But he has better quickness, better handles, a better outside shot and a better pull up jumper.

Now that doesn't mean he is a better player, because Barnes can do other things better than Lillard, but I would have been very uneasy on passing on Lillard tonight. Of course either way I am a little uneasy about our picks, but that is just the way I am. But I really think we need a PG with all those skills. Players like that dominate crunch time. It will take him a year to adjust, but by year two he should be ready to lead us.

I do like to see these threads bumped. It is always a surprise to see how right I was....:rolleyes2:
