The 6th was boring at times but really exiting at other times. Also when Snape was teacher of 'defense against the dark arts' I thought they would show tons of him but I don't even remember him doing anything until he killed Dumbledore. I also seriousely don't care about Ron Weasley 'snogging'.</div>The more makin out the better I say. I also did like the 5th, but as the ending was spoiled for me I don't really know how much I would've liked it had I not known. Right now the 6th is my favorite.Skipped over my post...here it is:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (GArenas @ Jul 17 2007, 08:07 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I'm sure that if Dumbledore was alive, Rowling would'nt want people to figure it out. Also, ASUfan, notice that Dumbledore and Snape were arguing about something. I'm sure Snape didn't want to kill dumbledore.</div>That's what I said...and Dumbledore was begging him to do it and continue on with the plan because if he didn't Snape would die because of the promise he made to Draco's mother and whatever him and Dumbledore had planed would be finished.

I liked all the books from 4 and after. I found 1 extremely boring. 2 and 3 were okay. 4 is still my favorite.

I started reading these at a perfect age. I was like 10 or 11 and there was this thing at the library where if you read books, you can take a test on them to get points...and with those points you can "buy" a toy or something. Me and my best friend(the guy who acted like Craig if you read my Friday post) got real into it cause we were both in after-school care and we usually just chilled in the library. So I read the first book, and the 1st movie came out when I was reading the 2nd book. If you grow up with the characters like I did...its alot easier to read. I personaly would never read about some 11 yr old kids running from witches and sh*t if I was 15 or 16...but as they gotten into the later years of the characters, its easier to read than about some little shits who are freaking out cause they just got pit hair.

Kobe comes in and takes Harry's spot on the Quiditch team or whatever its called.

I'm not a fan of the books. Read the 1st one a long time ago, never got into it. <span style='color:#000000;background:#000000'>http://machodance.ytmnd.com/</span> -At your own risk :shok: :cry2: :shifty2:

I may be one of the last ones to find out about this, but, Harry Potter was leaked on the internet. I have what seems to be a copy of the first chapter typed and a small copy of the entire book on my computer. I read the first chapter but decided not to read the entire book version because I want to read it from the actual copy.

I have no proof that it is real nor do I know it's real but I can say this, the first chapter is pretty convincing. If you want the link, I can send it to you.

Edit: I just opened the full book version. It's a photographed copy of the book's every page including the cover/glossery/other interesting material.

I can garuntee its not real. There always been the "leaked" version.....never been the real thing....its all fake.

"Rowling and her lawyer have admitted that there have been genuine online leaks, but they did not specify which ones they were or if the whole book was available."HEDWIG!!!11!

Didnt rowling say 2 of the main characters die?

I'll send you the file then you can judge. It's not a normal copy of the text, it's photo's of the book with the cover, chapters, and copy right pages along with a photograph of every page.

Here I'll post it:

Yeah some information has leaked...like it has with all books..but that doesn't mean the entire book has been leaked. Im not going to believe it until I have a real book in my hand that says the exact same that the "leaked" one says.

That's the entire book photographed. Who would write 759 detailed pages with a plot-line just to trick people. I'll personally check it myself the moment I get the book.

I was going to get it tomorrow morning, but I want to start reading it so bad so I went and got that wristband to reserve my place in line. I'm going to be in the 2nd group to get the book...a lot better than if I got it at 10:30-11 which is the time I'm going tonight. So many people are going to die... 😢 Goodbye Hagrid...Hermione or Ron and more...

I dunno when Im going to get it...I guess the next time im ar Kroger or something...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (SirLaker @ Jul 20 2007, 05:21 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I heard Ron Weasley dies...is that true?</div>No one knows yet. All that we know is that Rowling plans to kill 2 main characters that she didn't already plan to kill. Which means many deaths.

She said one of the main characters will die...not sure who it's going to be. I havn't yet read the 6th book, but I heard Dumbledore dies in that one.

ZOMG I just stole the 7th book from barnes n noble. Harry Potter doesn't die but he finds out that voldemort didnt kill his parents! It was OJ!

Im sorry for that post, but this discussion is a little bit sad. its just a book after all.

No, I hear in this one Harry actually grows some pubes and he spends all of his parents' money on expensive european ho's.

I read them. I wasn't counting down the days until now though, but my sisters a ridiculous fan so she'll pick it up and read in it 5 days or less, then I'll read it here and there when I feel like it.I probably won't come in this thread after today though, someone will probably post spoilers

Primetime, a book..or a series rather...you would enjoy is 3 books my Mildred D. Taylor. Its basicly about a black girl growing up in the early 1900s and the struggles of racism etc etc. First book is: Roll Of The Thunder, Hear My CryThe second book is: Let The Circle Be UnbrokenThe third book is: The Road to Memphis. The 2nd book is my favorite...very realistic and its the type of book you set it down after finishing it, and you know you just read a great book. Btw, the girl and her family grows up significantly throughout the 3 books. She started out around 10 in the first book, and shes like 19 in The Road To Memphis.
