King...Best thing I can tell you is to stay the fuck away from it. I went through the 70s adn 80s bull shit mind set of how "safe" it was.
If you are doing research for a part or something, I would be happy to get in depth if you need, if you are just thinking about trying it dont, If you are around someone that is doing it, they are in deep shit if you can notice
 
Did it a few times in the '90s. Kind of like a turbo boost, and a good drug in a social setting if everybody is cool and partying. I was always drinking alcohol when I did it, so I'm not sure I ever got the full effect.

If you're going to sit in your apartment by yourself, don't do it.
 
i had scored a half ounce of some really premo shit, snowflake fishscale whatever you want to call it, off my buddy ledo. it was almost translucent, pure as all get out. me and ledo went up to his other friends house to cook it up. it was shady as fuck, as we were going in 3 girls were coming out and wanted a piece of the action, but ledo told them to get lost, and we went in. the girls house, demona, she was was maybe 30, nice body, and pretty in a weathered sort of way. ledo went into the bathroom to get the spoon and the baking soda while demona showed me her rose collection. i picked the new one and peeled a little chore boy off. chore boy is like a brillo pad, but thicker metal and more coarse, like the difference between tobacco and hair. i burnt the chore boy down to get all the soap and whatever off of it and put it in the stem, it was a typical "lovers rose" stem from 7/11. "tell her that you care, with a LOVERS ROSE". that always used to crack me up. like people were buying them to give to their old ladies.

ledo sprinkled a pinch of the coke onto the spoon with a little water in it, and started cooking it with a bic lighter. as soon as it started to get a hot and bubbly he sprinkled in a small dash of baking soda, and it rocked up instantly, a nice little buffalo chip, a really nice little cookie. he poured the water off and whadayaknow, away we go.

as soon as i loaded the first rock in the stem demona started to suck my dick. she was all buisiness, no fucking around, hands on my balls, and stroking the shaft at the same time. but i couldnt get hard. i was too preoccupied with lighting my crack up. i twirled the stem friom side to side as the flame hit the rock, it melted right away and then started to smoke. i hit that pipe like i was drowning until i felt like my lungs were about to burst, it was expanding in my lungs to the point where i kept having to let a little out. rookie mistake, because as i gulped in to catch the escaping haze, i swallowed some of it. and ill tell you what, burping up clouds of crack smoke is the last thing you want to do at the dinner table.

next thing i know, its 4am, my bags gone, and ledo just wont shut the fuck up.
 
Did it a few times right after college, mid 90's. Fun for a night out partying, but feel like shit the next few days. Not something I'd ever do again.
 
Courtney Love has tried about every drug & pill there is and she said "by far" the gnarliest drug she ever tried was cocaine.

I actually had a moment in my past, where I was really addicted to it. I was basically snorting an "eight ball" a day. That's 3.5 grams. That's around 100 a day, since I had a connection, and it was 92% pure.

What I will tell you is to stay the fuck away from it. There are some that can do it and never have the urge to do it again, and there are others that do it a couple times and get engulfed.
 
I've never tried any stims but I'd probably give prescription stims (Adderall/Vyvanse) a shot.

prescription drugs will fucking ruin your life way quicker than cocaine ever could.

if i could give ANY advice about drugs, it would be to steer way the fuck clear of prescription drugs, especially crazy pills and pain pills, they are designed to make you physically and mentally dependent so that you have to keep taking them

this is important. if you have an addictive personality known for excess, do not do ANY drugs. and that means alcohol too. but weed doesnt count

i was always one to come down easy and not fiend for it the next day. while my buddies were out stealing car stereos, i was fast asleep

My brother died of a drug overdose from cocaine. It's actually a sore subject for me. Don't really joke about it.
 
i had a bottle of vicodin once i nabbed from my ex

id take a pill after work and veg out on the couch, but after a week or so......

when i would wake up in the morning i was sore ALL over, back pain, fucking cramps in my legs and shit

basically my body making up phantom pains to try and trick me into taking more

evil evil shit

A very long time ago, my neighbor was a dealer. I went over to his place one night and there were 4 Chicago Bears in his living room.

I won't name names, and they're all long retired.

That's my story.
 
everybody thinks they know where their limit is, and never think they have crossed it yet. meanwhile to the rest of the world its clear they are spiraling out of control. one of my good friends "pockets" has been battling oxy dependency for the last 5 years or so. he goes to jail, gets cleaned up, comes out and starts right back up. goes back to jail, scores it INSIDE jail, comes out even worse, goes right back in. its beyond depressingly sad. hes in jail now for a 6 month bid, and hopefully he hasnt been scoring in jail, and when he gets out hes clean and stays that way....but im not betting on it

I'm bipolar and without medications, I'd be dead. It's not all bad.

Magnifier- I'm fascinated that you did it and I'm sorry about your brother.

I'm not preparing for a role. I'm just curious. I wonder if it's like what my bipolar highs were like.
 
If you have an addictive personality, I'd advise you to be careful. (Your drinking habits are a good indicator.) Like most people, I don't have an addictive personality. I tried several drugs a few times each and had the self-control to keep it to a few times each.

No matter how bad you say it was in your case, I still say: It's not the government's business to jail millions of people over the last 40 years, and keep the population terrified of the government, in order to prevent people from hurting themselves. All drugs should be legal, with ample educational warnings provided.

To look at this they looked at changes in gene expression in an area of the brain called the striatum, which is an area associated with the rewarding and reinforcing properties of drugs like cocaine. It's a phrase that's really big and very hot right now. It's clinically relevant. In fact, it's VERY clinically relevant. A lot of people seeking cognitive enhancement will also be on antidepressants, and that's a good demographic to look at. Not only that, but the effects of Prozac on Ritalin go the OTHER WAY. Ritalin enhances the antidepressant effects of Prozac. This works so well that a phenomenon has started among doctors of giving drugs like Ritalin along with Prozac in the first two weeks, to tide the patient over and get them through the weeks until the Prozac really kicks in (this is an issue with antidepressants, that they take several weeks to work).
