<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The hot rumor is that LeBron James is already committed to hooking up in 2010 with Jay-Z and the Nets, which would make the landmark Joe Smith-Minnesota tampering case look like some petty shoplifting at the local five-and-dime.</div>

All you get is a blurb.

who says its tampering? maybe LeBron just told the Nets he wants to sign with them. and the Nets replied, "no comment".

I don't buy it, I refuse to get my hopes up for this

I'm only getting my hopes up when Jay-Z recruits Jarron Collins.

It's Mitch Lawrence, one of the laziest sports writers in New York. He is coasting on a reputation that is long gone. Typical of the Daily News.

I can't resist being excited about this. Better not blow up in my face.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Has LeBron James already committed to the Nets?</div>

I hope not

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?? LeBron James and DeSagana Diop reuniting?!?! I smell championshippp....

This is complete bullshit. If this was true, then why the hell wouldn't Mitch Lawrence as a journalist try to get the complete story and score a big one for the Daily News, instead of a small blurb?

haha exactly, but hey its the offseason. I'll chomp at the bit for any sort of Nets news.

Well my hopes are already very high and i expect LBJ to be with us in 2010 , hopefully my hopes arent crushed. But ill get over it

lebron james not only already committed to the nets but also made chris bosh agree to come with him to the nets in 2010!

Why Bosh? I don't think he's that amazing.. Not to mention he got absolutely ripped by Stephen A Smith on ESPN today

I already have a wall paper featuring Lebron James in Nets Jersey with #23
.

The one Jigga made? That's mine too!
Too bad 23 is retired.

DANGER! DANGER ! MASSIVE TAMPERING!

On the one hand, I take NI at his word that this guy's credibility is in worth shape than his teeth. Seriously, look at his head shot in the link. You'd think the Daily News could offer dental...

On the other, if it is true, I think we'd get away with it. Which is AWESOME.

well, i want amare stoudemire (who can also opt out in 2010) to combine with lbj but bosh is lebron's friend...

I'd rather have Wade than Bosh.

Nets need a big man, if they can choose, they should pick Dwight to go along with Leberon.

I think he's a FA the following year.
