Dyang, he's been a mainstay for years in these parts....and a conservative ally, to boot! LOL
 
MarAzul was banned. That duration of which has not been determined. Marzy continued to insult/attack moderators. Sly banned him.

To make it clear, he was not banned for slurs that were used. But, for posts afterwards, that indicated a continued disrespect for the rules and for the moderators, of which he had been previously warned multiple times.
 
I have to say that after posting on different message boards for over 25 years, I must say that the Moderators here are not only the fairest, they also have to deal with strongly opinionated jackasses like Marz and myself. And they do it without bias as far as I can tell and unless there's a "Go Fund Me" page dedicated to them, they do it for free.

Regardless, if it's me or Marz or anyone else gets banned or a temporary "time out" (which I would have to assume the case is with Marz) it probably means they "screwed the pooch"...sorry for the reference, Sly.

You are no jackass. I've also been on message boards for over a quarter century and I know a jackass when I encounter one and you fail the test miserably.

Even if I knew one in here I wouldn't name him for two reasons:
1. I just went to church this morning and I wouldn't want to go back on my promise to God that I would redouble my efforts to be a good boy so soon;
2. It's against the rules in here. The rule of thumb is to criticize the post and not the poster. Plus, who wants to be banned? Not me.
I guess there's actually a third reason -
3. It's counterproductive. Just stirring up trouble does no good but does cause harm. If you want to spend your time in here being productive than make your feedback acceptable otherwise you're wasting everyone's time including your own.

We used to be a family. Nobody used to mention "rules" until these Oregonian board guys arrived. I think they sneaked in from south of the border. Cup is a maniac about rules.

I have never clicked to find the board rules, and have no interest in them. Seems to work. Everyone should try to clone my personality. I can bottle it and sell some if you ask humbly. Need any tips, just ask me and bring a credit card and your own flea-infested counseling couch. I have a security blanket with a little cholera you can hug.

ESPN boards were a joke as far as moderation goes...a female Mod named Grace Cloud banned me for, well, being me...several co-posters petitioned to have me reinstated...and I was.

I was also inducted into the ESPN HOF on the first ballot...and more importantly, I also have a cape.

So, as with me previously, no rules were broken at all, he was calmly criticizing the bias and emotional baggage that has guided some questionable modding, so you silenced him without a reason.

A more MODERATE reaction might have been to admit you are human and just might be biased, although if it affects your modding it's unintentional.

Just my 2 cents.

Biased? No...........the refs are always out to get the Blazers but the mods here aren't biased just like 17 "errors" (including literal evidence tampering) just accidentally went against Trump. Move along, nothing to see here. Lol

I find it strange that the forum is being reported to the Blazers, for 'allowing' racist comments to happen, and the proof is screen shots since the stuff was edited out.

My guess is whoever reads the complaint will laugh at it and go "oh my god, John, check this out. Someone on a message board is having a flame war with someone else on a message board with maybe 20 regular posters. No, it's called Sports two. Never heard of it? Me neither actually. I didn't know we had an official message board either, this is 2019. Most people now-a-days use instagram, twitter and tik-tok. Who the hell uses message boards anymore anyway? Into the garbage you go"

You broke the rules. Marzy broke the rules. There are consequences. You both were warned and continued to be warned and continue to break rules and then play victim after the consequences come. The result of refusing to accept your actions and continuing to post insults ended in you being banned. The same with Marzy. You have no one to blame except yourself.

I am very human. As a Moderator I am not biased. I mod using the rules and only the rules. I am objective. Again, careful with your accusations.
