Has Summer League changed your opinion?

Young. So unlike everyone this year other than Vonleh and Cliff.

Vonleh's like what, 20? I'd call that young.

I'd say Crabbe showed potential but needed a couple of years to be a contributor in the rotation.

The couple of years being something to keep in mind.

Saw just maybe one game but my opinion:
Vonleh is OK, don't know if he's worth playing much but there's things about his game I like
Montero is very talented but not active enough and only plays within the flow, needs to ask for the ball more, play a bigger role
Caughnaghton plays with a lot of effort and is a leader but needs to improve his shot, otherwise he showed some flashes
Pierre Jackson I hope makes the team, would give us more options behind Dame and CJ
Layman is nice, could be more or less Victor Claver which is nice for a 2nd rounder
Alexander is OK, maybe worth another year to see how he develops
Shabazz didn't play much but played well, Im happy we got him

there were games last season where Vonleh played better than he did in any summer league game this year.

Vonleh was much better in the last SL than in this one. Vonleh and Crabbe led the last SL. This time he didn't stand out. Starting in the regular season against other teams' starters seems to have intimidated him into becoming a shrinking violet. We should trade him now, not later as his worth decreases.

Although Olshey's habit of not providing a SL point guard didn't help...he signed Napier at the last minute, earlier in the summer than Napier deserved, because he hadn't bothered to add a PG to the SL team, even a mediocre one. Last SL was an exception. We had a PG, which helped both Vonleh and Crabbe, and we won games. The SL before that, McCollum was the yucky PG, so we sucked.

We didn't have any point guards. Are you talking about those Mighty Mouses who got to SL because of their scoring?
