I don't have any more of a favorable view on Elon Musk than I have an unfavorable view on Musk. He's a tycoon. Starlink wasn't created for people like you, since you already have access to wired infrastructure. And even if you didn't, you wouldn't need a desktop computer to take advantage of the full speeds Starlink can provide.

And while I can't stand Trump or DeSantis, the people who support them support pretty much any rich asshole. Of course they'd like Elon Musk...

Studies have shown masks work to varying degrees depending on the area. 9 studies showing between 9% and 40% reduced transmission.

Also, studies showed that closing schools did not result in an increase of youth suicides. In fact there was a slight dip in suicides in 2019/2020 and a slight increase after schools opened back up.

Dude. You had access to wired infrastructure. That you could connect to a wireless router. Which is what you appear to have done.

Starlink was not developed for you. It was developed for people who didn't have access to wired or wireless broadband.

This was made clear before public access to starlink was ever available.

Yes, virtually any broadband wired to your house is going to be better than Starlink. That was always going to be the case. Even broadband that goes directly to a wireless router.

Starlink was never trying to compete with Cable, fiber, or DSL broadband or 5G. They were targeting the people who were underserved by those services.
