I bet Jerami Grant would avoid the Paxlovid rebound, but Josh Hart would get it no matter how he staggered the dosage.
 
Just got back from Disneyland. Wife immediately felt sick and tested positive for COVID. My daughter and I haven't tested positive yet, but I figure it's only a matter of time.

We had it once a couple years ago and it really sucked. Took a week to feel better. Wife got Paxlovid yesterday and she says she does feel a little better. I guess we'll see.

This is why I started this thread and have mentioned here a couple times. I just want to know why people are testing themselves? If they get a positive, what are they doing about it?
 
I test myself if I am going to be in close indoor settings with vulnerable people. Those with health problems. If I best positive I will stay home.

Been doing little checking on this Paxlovid thingy..and my Sister in law came by this afternoon to pick up some tax return paperwork that my Bride had prepared but when we answered the door she said she tested positive 2 days ago...so we talked for a while at a distance and I relayed to her that she might wanna check into Paxlovid...she said she had never heard of it...I told her to call her doctor and ask about it.

So THEY say! But THEY don't tell you how it causes blood clots, reconfigures your DNA, inserts nano-chips into your bloodstream, and makes you susceptible to government control through 5G technology!

Or something like that, I think...
 
Picked it up from my wife on Thursday. First two days sucked. Felt like a nasty cold. I just took some Sudafed. Felt a little better on Saturday. I'm mostly back to normal today. Just have a cough.
 
I sincerely hope all of you who contracted it are recovering well. I still haven't gotten it but seeing the spike in cases looks like I'm postponing my trip to California for a while and I'm digging out my mask stash and washing my hands more frequently..fortunatley I enjoy being a semi hermit and it's in my nature to avoid large crowded events these days anyway. I won't be attending any Duck tailgating parties with my in-laws this year.

The hospitalization rate in 2022 was the lowest rate of the past decade.

The majority of hospitalizations were related to mental health disorders or pregnancy.

COVID-19 accounted for 1.5% of hospitalizations in 2021 & dropped 70% to under .5% in 2022.

Cancer (neoplasm) hospitalizations in 2020 & 2021 were identical& went down in 2022.

There was no measurable rise in circulatory system, immune disorder or nervous system hospitalizations.

Vaccines are not harming the young & healthy in the USA.
