Haywood and Mike Miller to Portland

We send picks out? What the fuck do we gain?

I can't imagine we're interested in the players themselves. But they both are expiring contracts. Haywood is something like 10M and Miller is around 3M I believe. Perhaps it's to have some expiring contracts sitting around to trade? Only thing I can think of...

It has to be a typo. Olshey turns 2nd round picks into valuable players, why would he sends out 2 for two players who will be cut?
Maybe Woj missed where we get a 1st round pick or something

we had cap space anyway, which is more valuable for acquiring expensive players than expiring contracts.

I don't know who this is but it seems more accurate
it still doesn't mean shit... Clevelands 2nd rounders will be 55-60th... so we won't swap in 2019 and 2020s 2nd wont be worth shit.

Why does Portland do this deal? What are we getting out of this? Or what's the point?

Ohhh most favorable of their two 2nd rounders, not a swap. Okay that's a solid move.

Where is their other 2nd rounder in '19 from? Someone sucky, I hope.

That makes more sense. I can't believe Portland would be sending out picks for players that will get waived. I'm wondering if they waive Haywood and keep Miller and then trade him at the deadline.

Looks like Cleveland has the lakers and the twolves picks in 2019 2nd round. Not bad...
