One of my all time favorites. Had this game as a kid. Also loved MC Kids. For some reason fast food companies went hard on making games.

Almost done rewatching Stranger Things prepping for the final season. Will finish on this flight home from Seattle.

Same. Take a Japanese game and reskin the main character to fit your franchise, why not? We were double dipping back in those days, getting free personal pizzas at Pizza Hut for reading at school while playing a video game with the almost-forgotten Domino's mascot.

I actually just went to an estate sale this morning with the wife and son and picked up a Super Scope, the Super Scope 6 game, NES U-Force controller, and the NES Power Pad with manual and box all for $20. Beyond a steal, paying off childhood debts of peripherals I just never owned or maybe saw once or twice.

maybe this is the perfect place for you nerds to unite and help me out!

Last two years I’ve been using a program for my MacBook called OBS that allows me to record my daughter’s games streaming on ESPN+. It’s been great. I have to record it real time, but it works. ESPN+ has always sent out something that if you simply try to screen record their feed it is just a black screen.

Well, since last fall things have changed and yesterday I was trying to record my daughter’s game, it didn’t work. Black screen, no matter what we tried. I had my guys in the broadcast truck even trying.

HELP! PLEASE! FAMS!

I remember building a lan in the basement of the house with four Intel 286DX computers so we could play Doom. And as new chips and MBs came out, upgrading the computers to play Descent, Quake, Red Alert, Monster Truck Madness, etc. The kids and their friends loved it. But I always made sure the best and fastest computer was mine.

Standby….. will be in google for at least 10 minutes to decipher this one!

I was one of the first to overclock the 286 chip from 66mz to 80mz.

I also rewired a set of Thrustmaster foot pedals so I could strafe with them. Being able to turn/strafe/fire all at once was awesome.

@SlyPokerDog what thread was that video you shared about what I need to know before watching the new Aliens Earth? Can’t find it.

Does reading books made out of paper qualify? Who still does that? Including a book first published in 1348 (not a typo).

Heck yeah. I read books quite a lot. I have a bookshelf with a little bit of everything. I enjoy going to the library.

That's way beyond a steal. Used to have all of those. You have to hold that thing like a bazooka. My favorite Nes accessory though was the power glove.

I still have my Nes with Marios 1-3, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Batman, Maniac Mansion, Star Tropics, Pitfall, Punch out, and a few others.

I have an Atari, Pacman arcade game, NES, Super Nintendo, PlayStation 1, Wii, Xbox Series S (I'll be upgrading for Christmas), and a Switch.

I have had other consoles (N64, Sega, Sega Dreamcast, Xbox, Xbox One, PlayStation 2&3, but don't currently have those.

The one classic piece of gaming I have never had or tried but want to is the Virtual Boy.

Other than gaming, I read a lot. I have most of all the classics from Charles Dickens to Herman Melville. I have all the novels you may have read in high school from Salinger to Vonnegut. I of course have Shakespeare, short story collections, most of Stephen King's books, and much more. I have the whole Michael Crichton collection...my mom and I used to enjoy buying ones we hadn't read and trading them back and forth. I have them all now of course since she has passed.

I have an extensive collection on cryptozoology, hauntings, Aliens, and the unknown. Those are fun reads. I know about most of the cases out there.

I am also an avid reader, of Uncle Johns which are books of many many facts and occurrences. Fun reads.

My favorite books are Catcher in the Rye, the collected works of Brothers Grim, A Thousand and one Nights, and an early edition of Stephen Kings Graveyard Shift.

I'm also a movie buff. I have an extensive DVD collection. I have all the movies worth having. Mostly. Still a few out there probably. But, I have seen pretty much every film after my birth and most that came before it.

I also have a small VHS collection. It was much larger, but we needed space, so I sold most of them. I of course kept the gems.

I also write.

Mostly poetry, but also short stories. I actually had a collection of horror stories published, but it has typos in it because I was young and in a hurry. It didn't sell well. Its hard to find now. Might be out of print.

I’ve played pong on computer before! I also read books with no illustrations! I even have a full set of encyclopedias!

I had that on Atari. That's like the original game.

My parents used to have a full set of encyclopedias that I read from all the time. Not sure what happened to them.
