Me too. But I hope to get some value back for Outlaw. Frye and Sergio we can just get rid of. Outlaw I think has some value around the league.
I thought you guys liked Sergio? What's this all about? Send him to Toronto to be Calderon's apprentice.

Who is Channing Frye?
In 4 games Channing Fucking Frye played in = 4 loses for us. Two games where he did not logged a single second, we won both games. No, I'm not blaming our loses on his pathetic play. But just about every time he's been on the court this season, he's been a detriment to our team.
Good riddance.
I wonder how he got so bad. Every year coaches and trainers rave about his work ethic and he seems to just get worse. He was great during his rookie year, but maybe that knee injury he got is the cause for it?
Probably. From what I saw of Channing in college and in his rookie year, he had more of an ability to attack the hoop. His knee injury has probably sapped his athleticism, making him less able to get to the hoop and to get rebounds. He's become purely a jump-shooter, and he doesn't have the shooting touch to be good just from that.

I like Sergio. I'm not quite sure why so many people are down on him, but I think he's still got a lot of potential as a starting PG in the NBA and am in no rush to move him at all.

Ed O.
There are physical aspects, but I would imagine it's a mind set as much as anything.
Mindset doesn't explain the drop from well-regarded college prospect and very good NBA rookie to borderline NBA player.
Unless you mean his mindset changed after his rookie season, but why would it?
Frye has talent. There is a reason he was picked ahead of Bynum. Supposely he has the best jumpshot in the Blazers practice but unfortunately I have yet to see it in the game.
Really, I can't think of one attribute that Frye is above average at. He's pathetic as a defender. Can't stay with his man, can't play post defense, can't block shot, doesn't hustle. He doesn't rebound. Pathetic in the post, and has no attacking game whatsoever. Normally, a player has a niche to stick in the NBA. He might be a good defender, spot up shooter, setup man, or just an overall tough guy act as an enforcer. Frye has nothing. Zero. Nil. His only claim is he is maybe an average 15-20 ft shooter. But really, is that even a good thing? A 20ft shot is the most inefficient shot in basketball, and that's what Frye is best at? Fucking pathetic.

Comparing Frye to Horry is really an insult to Horry. Horry was one of the best role playing player during his time. He could guard both PF and SF and did a good job. He had good handle for his size. A very underrated passer. He was a good 3-pointer shooter. He was just a well-rounded ball player with high basketball IQ.

Yep I totally agree. My additional 2 cents right there too. We need that other young Ricky Rubio PG from Spain. Heh.I'm hoping that Outlaw, Frye, and Rodriquez will be gone next year.
I have loathed watching Frye all year. Nice guy, terribly soft. I think we can all agree on that.
That said, if you put him on a team that already has a few bangers . . . he COULD be effective coming off the bench knocking down 18-20 ft jumpers. Think Robert Horry. He had the luxury of playing with Hakeem, Shaq, and Tim Duncan (not to mention guys like Otis Thorpe, Elden Campbell, Nesterovic, Malik Rose, etc.) It was okay for him, at 6'10", to sit out on the perimeter and fire up jumpers (and do little else) Sure, RH had the the rep of a cagey, wily veteran with a high BB IQ and as a decent defender. But that was overrated if you ask me - I can remember Rasheed abusing him over and over. I'm not sure Channing couldn't be "Chip Shot Channing" to their "Big Shot Bob".
It's just not going to be here. Good luck Channing - go knock yourself out for a team that doesn't need you to play physical. He'll probably be next years Von Wafer - killing us with jumpers in the post season while playing for a team like San Antonio.
Bump-worthy!
