I wonder what the draw of Barry is to get him to this stage of interviews. Not saying he’s not worthy, but at least Billups has some connections within the organization. Is it just because he’s a spurs guy? If so why isn’t Udoka a candidate?

Nick Nurse and Erik Spoelstra didn't have HC experience before stepping into their current roles. Same thing with Pop in San Antonio. A coach has to start somewhere.

I still believe it’s Billups’ job to lose. I could see any of these candidates taking it though.

I do wonder what role Asjha Jones will play. She’s got some connections with Hammon. What if the person the blazers reportedly have been eying for a while was actually Becky? I mean people on here have been connecting her to the job for awhile, wouldn’t be that much of a stretch. And Olshey loves the Spurs.
