So what am I miss here..... she inherited every dollar of her wealth. How is that an indication of business sense? She had the business sense to have a billionaire brother?
She was rich before she inheritance her brother wealth. Now she must did things right to get there.

Hammon after hearing Jody voicing her desire for her:

"Portland's a first-class organization and will have great candidates for its head coaching job, but I've decided not to be one of them," Hammon told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. "Whoever they choose will have big shoes to fill from Terry [Stotts]."

Hammon was ultimately uncomfortable with the idea of pursuing the opening after Blazer's owner Jody Allen publicly called for her hiring within weeks of Stotts’ departure on Friday night. The public nature of Allen’s endorsement — telling Yahoo Sports that “Becky Hammon is the woman I want” — left Hammon feeling she would put both Allen and Portland’s process in an awkward circumstance should she pursue the opening.

I was suspicious about the logic behind her reasoning, since we haven't ever heard directly from Jody Allen that she wanted Becky, it was just reported (makes for a good headline).

And then when I clicked on the link...

YOU SUMMABISH!

So Becky met yesterday. MDA and Billups have yet to meet.

How can someone be a frontrunner if they all haven't actually completed the interview process?
Exactly what I was thinking.
I suppose, if anyone, Hammon could be a heavy front runner if she absolutely crushed the interview yesterday.

I honestly don’t know how you can hire MDA without an ELITE defensive coach as a requirement for him.

do not care what he says in his interview about what he has learned about defense blah blah blah.

Well if olshey hire MDA then then olshey would be caught in big bullshit lie about defense. We need someone that's has some fire in belly.

Woj is prolly getting messages from multiple sources: Olshey, coaches' agents, front office/ownership, etc. Hence the mixed messages.

We don't need another iso type of coach with our guards we need will establish offense that's everyone is in the offense not just guards.

His offensive style after they went small ball was attrocious but before that the Rockets played good offensive basketball utilizing a lot of pick and rolls. He also played great offensive basketball with Phoenix.

Now after what Olshey said in his press conference if he hires D'Antoni to fix the issues he raised then he is a complete idiot.

Pretty sure he already was one. :)

I figured there'd be a lot more more overlap between candidates for each job. (gathered with just a cursory google/twitter search on candidates being interviewed, not definitive obviously)

Portland:
- Hammon
- D'Antoni
- Billups

Boston:
- Billups
- Udoka
- Ham

Indiana:
- Stotts
- Clifford
- Shaw

New Orleans:
- Vaughn
- Kidd
- Udoka
- Weatherspoon
- Lee

Orlando:
- Green
- Udoka
- Lee
- Hammon

Washington:
? don't think they've even started

Dallas:
? no word whatsoever

To summarize:
Udoka: Boston, New Orleans, Orlando
Billups: Portland, Boston
Hammon: Portland, Orlando
Lee: New Orleans, Orlando
MDA: Portland
Kidd: New Orleans
Vaughn: New Orleans
Stotts: Indiana
Clifford: Indiana
Shaw: Indiana
Ham: Boston
Green: Orlando
Weatherspoon: New Orleans

No one is looking at Carlisle?

think he was primed for Milwaukee, but that ain't happening now. I wonder if he quit thinking he'd get that job for sure. Bucks were down 2-3 in the series when he resigned.

Boston or Indiana maybe?

Haven't heard any of the 7 teams with open head coaching spots had interviewed him. Maybe now we will? Or will Milwaukee still fire Bud if they lose to Hawks in the ECF?
