I pointed to those Mavs forum pieces to show that the backlash towards a potential Kidd hire is not unique to Portland. The fact that dumbass Mark Cuban ignores all the optics doesn't remove the fact that nearly everyone in Dallas hates the hire.

You responded with … a bunch of reasons why he should be forced to, but still hasn’t. Whether that’s because Mark Cuban doesn’t give a shit or because of something else, that’s not a response to my post.

I want a coach that will hold all player accountable the way they play that includes Dame. All this talk about Dame this and that but I really don't really care about all that what I want to see a team that plays together on both ends and if make Dame score less for that to happen then so be it. I rather have Dame score between 20-25 points and get double digits assist and the team win I will take that. I don't give damn who make the all star team because all about show. If we decide to keep CJ that will include him too.

I don't see anyone on any list that meets that description. Do you?

No I believe it is most likey Billups (had my reasons for a while). If it was D'Antoni or Hammon, I think they would have announced it. If it was the other name I have heard, they also could have announced it. If it is Billups, they likely wait until the Clips are finished with the Playoffs which is why it could be taking so long.

It is also known, as reported here previously, that there have been others interviewed whose names have not become known -- and likely will not be known, due to their current coaching situations. For example, if they talked with a top-level college coach who might fear it would affect recruiting if it was known he was interested in a jump to the NBA.
