I hate to tell you it's really about how good coach he be if people don't like your past character and that's effect season ticket holder to sign back up then a organization would frown about that and might effect there finally decision who they hire.

I saw it in 2014 with the Oregon men's team. The issue is due process and the fundamental failure of prominent voices in Oregon to support it as a fundamental process, so instead of rape accusations without due process, we have "rapists" and "rape victims". It is an Oregon thing. It's a Portland thing.

Olshey did say it's up to Jody who they hire. He going give her 3 or 4 qualify coaches in the final selection. I could see her hiring a female coach if there interested to be a head coach.

he didn’t really say that. She just has to approve of his choice(s), which isn’t exactly the same thing.

If she only approved only one out of the finalized then it's kind she making the choice more likely that's not going happen she probably tell olshey to choose.

That's great....and awesome for her. Doesn't change the opinion and not sure what being in the HoF for college contributions has to do with being an rookie NBA coach for Dame in his prime. That said, if she becomes the Blazers head coach and is that absolutely best candidate, the so be it and well done.
 
Bert Koldie will have input and it wouldn't surprise me he's the one that has expressed interest in Barry. Didnt Barry play for the Sonics at one point? 5 years. There's that Seattle connection.

Do you actually trust Olshey to make this decision? I sure as fuck don’t. I’m not sure I trust his judgement whatsoever after leaving Terry in charge for 9 years, the Summer Spending Spree of ‘16, FA offers to Roy Hibbert, Festus Ezeli, Chandler Parsons, etc etc.

And won two titles while playing for the Spurs, and is currently employed by said team. Me thinks this is more about hearing from the Spurs organization about his qualifications, and hoping to model the team after the Spurs success than it is anything to do with him playing for the Sonics...almost 20 years ago.
