I thought about turning the game off so many times. But I knew there was a slight chance the Blazers could go on a run and pull it out. We have so many guys that can get hot from 3.

But you have to shake your head and wonder how in the world the Blazers pulled this off! With all the missed FTs (didn't expect Lillard to choke in crunch time), turnovers, missed shots inside......very nice win though.

One thing I have to say though, is that Hickson needs to learn to get a better sense of when he should just pull the rebound down and pass it back out. He tries too many ridiculous shots inside.....
 
1/2 game out of 6th. :)
 
I thought about turning it off too. I was miserable for 47 minutes of the game.
 
That was the luckiest game of the year. Can't believe Portland won that.

Every decent team gets a couple games a year they win that they don't really deserve. This is one of those games.
 
GOD DAMN THAT WAS A GREAT ENDING.

I kept changing the channel or turning the TV off through the 1st 2.5 quarters tonight but I just had to keep coming back, almost turned it of for good when we were 11 down in the 4th but I'm so fucking glad a watched that ending.

We got a LOT of good calls going our way including one out of bounds back to us that we definitely shouldn't have. But man, I'm glad we finally got one like that!
 
Although I expected the Heat to hit a game winning shot, I wasn't actually THAT surprised that Portland came back.

It's kind of like the 99-00 team, that I always felt was capable of coming back and hitting clutch shots. Not saying this team is on par with that team, but it's one of those "yeah, kind of expected that" feeling.

I turned it off early 4th quarter. I just got bored of the Blazers lingering 10 points down forever. Felt like the Heat were just toying with us. Turned it back on with 90 seconds left. Couldn't believe it.
 
This win against Miami will definitely make the crushing loss in Oakland more palatable. :ghoti:

I know, right. There was one poster on here I remember being staunchly against it. I thought it was a bargain. I love what he brings.
 
This game makes me want to do naked cartwheels and somersaults in my living room.
 
I don't know what it is about us on TNT. But that shit is magical.
 
Great win! Love it!

Can't believe people saying we didn't deserve this win. Sure we could have won it easier, but we earned it. The Heat played well yet when we needed to we took over just like we have in most close games. The Heat have been clutch in close games, but we've been clutcher! :)

That was the cool thing. I saw the graphic that the heat were 8-2 and we were 10-2 in close games. After the win; we are 11-2 and Miami 8-3
