I might be wrong but I think Hap is short for Happy which is sometimes a nickname for someone with the name Henry.

2 polls would be predictable. The first, "Did you move here from BBB?" would obtain about 50%.

The second, "If so, did you conform to the crowd, or move because you disliked Hap trying to move the OT board?" would find at most 10% of the 50% moved specifically because of Hap.

Hap, you're not as unpopular as you think. I wish that Bill Walton, Bob Whitsitt, and Hap would return.

He was having posters banned for speaking critically of Obama in the OT section. He couldn't debate, so he got angry and he had Laker and Grizz mods ban posters. He didn't have the authority to ban posters, so he whined to those mods on that site who could, and basically ended up blowing up the BBF community.

I believe ABM was the first he had banned during the 2008 election cycle. That's pretty funny, if you think about it. ABM is probably the nicest poster in this community, and has set up numerous events affiliated with the Blazers.

Unfortunately for Hap, that's his legacy. No wonder julius/Hap came up with a new identiy.

Not true. Those opposing Obama greatly increased their posting in the months leading up to November. The OT board was severely undermanned by moderators. His work load became overwhelming. That board, like every board, had much tighter rules than here. So posters in the mood to argue politics argued with his decisions.

The volume of McCain posts increased so much that after posting OT a lot for a year (simultaneously posting on ESPN), I quit BBB a month before the election and missed the final commotion. I couldn't keep up with debating all you McManiacs. Hap was trying to manage all that. Sportstwo has an easier time with its liberal rules, proving that liberals should rule.
 
Hap, you are no longer the Hap we remember, as you have changed in time, but our collective-unconscious-Hap remains frozen and serves as a symbol to the community and....

oh, sorry, wrong meeting. What I meant to say is:
