I've been watching this board for the last year or so and decided it's time to start contributing some of my vast knowledge

Here are some of my thoughts: Blake should be in the second unit with Bayless at the two spot, Gregg will be dominate in another year or two (but he looks like a new born fawn every time he tries an offensive move right now), Roy appears to have a dislike for Miller if you watch his body language and interactions with him during games (he needs to trust Miller a little more with running the offense) Rudy needs to be starting in this three guard line-up, especially if the goal is to spread the floor more, I'm VERY impressed with Martell and how fit he looks after a year off and the intensity he's bringing to the floor when he plays, and finally, there needs to be a consolidation of talent. Hopefully that includes Blake, Outlaw, and possibly Martell, Rudy or Nic on the way out for a superior third scoring option at a position of need. Rudy WILL NOT resign with this team!

Ps I'm not saying any of this is a new revelation, just stating my feeling on the team as a first time poster.

Good points all around. I'm in favor of a consolidation trade, as well. Earlier, I had suggested Blake, Outlaw, and Rudy for Gerald Wallace.

Welcome to the board.

Some good points and mostly well reasoned and thoughtful. I can only quibble with one or two observations.

1. Oden looked great against Tim Duncan (whom he scored all of his points on) and with Andre feeding him the ball from here on out I expect his development to quicken a bit (though he probably is still a good year or two away from being completely comfortable and dependable) and 2. Rudy is shooting 26% from three point range right now, he wouldn't be spacing the floor right now, he'd be creating long rebounds that would probably result in fast breaks the other way right now.

They need critical help on the offensive line, a safety and a pass-rusher. Hard to get all of that in one off-season, but they will have cap space and two first-round picks (theirs and Carolina's).

They're not a good team, but they aren't too far off.
