I wonder, honestly, how much Pineda's slider moves with Pine tar vs. without. I'd guess it doesn't cut anymore with tar, than without. I'd expect the use of tar was only to get a better grip & bite on the ball in hand....a slider doesn't require anything more than a good grip & a hard karate chop delivery....!
