Christmas eve and Christmas there will be snow mixed with rain. The following week will nothing but snow in Portland. So make sure you shop ahead and prepare.

He's been meaning to go dig up his treasure for years

I made a map but maybe I should have included a bit more detail.

My weather app says highs in the upper 30s. I always look at that instead of the lows.

Down here it's flood rains....monsoon like rains all night and most of the day....glad I don't live in the valley...my creek is gushing now but it'll never flood my property....maybe somebody's down the hill is a swamp from it though

Out here in the sticks, Canby ferry is closed. Willamette is too high. Pat’s 50 acres has some field flooding. Happens most years though.

I highly doubt it will snow all week. I’m not old but almost all of the winter storms that I can remember were only a day or two of snow.

a week would be alright with me though

Here we are expecting rain. Supposed to warm up a bit. It's so cold when I do predawn early morning walk I pack myself into so many layers getting in and out of them is a major production.

We had a good one back in 2008 and I remember one that lasted for roughly a week back in maybe 1993?

2004, my senior year of high school we were off for almost two weeks of school because it snowed a bunch and then freezing rain on top. Took forever to melt.

I was stuck over at my buddies and we just got baked the whole time.
