I’ll give it 3 weeks. If it had decided to rain today, it would have snowed.
Snow before Christmas?
Earliest opening for a lot of ski resorts in the area in recent memory.I don’t pay that much attention, but didn’t Mt. Hood open relatively early this year?
It's a definite possibility this year. Even now, it's nice to see how snowy Mt Hood looks already.I’ll give it 3 weeks. If it had decided to rain today, it would have snowed.
Snow before Christmas?
Supposed to be one of the worst winters in a long time.

As an aspiring broadcaster, my parents would always joke with me that one day I'd be the person on the side of I-84 in the Troutdale area freezing my butt off reporting on the fresh snow/ice. When I got my start in Laredo I figured that would never happen but sure enough, one of the few bad winter storms and there I was on the side of I-35 reporting on ice turning the freeway into a skating rink. Couldn't help but laugh knowing I was officially part of 'the club' of reporters that had to go through that. Can we do a poll or contest where we guess which local news station intern is gonna be out the earliest on a freeway overpass somewhere just to be able to document the first snowflake of this winter? It's as sure as death and taxes......and I'd bet Sly has some cool swag for prizes........
Great story! And you confirmed that the "poor intern freezing on the overpass waiting for the first snowflake" isn't just some urban legend. You just want it so they'll close your middle school........I want a snowpocalypse. I hate the pussy no-snow winters we have around here.
Partially true. That childhood instinct to want a snow day never fully leaves...You just want it so they'll close your middle school........
You could always move back to RussiaI want a snowpocalypse. I hate the pussy no-snow winters we have around here.
Hmm...not a bad ideaYou could always move back to Russia
Most people I've talked to who used to live in Russia do not speak fondly of it it. And they don't support Putin or his actions. You could always move back to Russia
