Free Agent Hi, I'm the Realist! Here are some of my takes on the team

You're 3 years behind cmeese with the Conley trade idea..personally, I'm a fan of Lillard's game
Well it seems as if most of your guys are. Beats the hell out of me why though. I cringe every time he jacks up a three. During this past playoff, he shot 36 of them.
Hit six. Geez! I do not know how you can like that stubbornness. I don't know why the coach and GM do either.

He should have known Lamarcus was going to leave, He should have know why Lamarcus was going to leave. Managers that are blindsided have not been doing there job.

Olshey did know. In fact, he MADE it happen by not seriously pursuing Aldridge or any of the players he "lost." His Master Plan is the Clipper one, hatched by that birdbrain Donald Sterling, under whose beak and claw that worm Olshey was raised. We will wait 20 years like Sterling did, with an annual high pick who ditches us when his rookie contract expires.

While Sly basks in his bloody bannings, remember that the true Satan is Olshey. Sly is a wannabe Olshey, who is a wannabe Sterling, who is a wannabe Bush. This I say unto you. I leave to the student as homework to place Denny into the hierarchy.

Yeah, right. You killed the guy who could give the other side of the story. There are 3 theories here.

1. You are a 100% innocent lamb as you claim.

2. You are Realist and you caused this long thread, to make Denny the big bucks so he'll reward you with more cigars and Hawaii trips.

3. You viciously struck down an eager new board member, costing the board thousands of posts he would have generated over the years, robbing your boss Denny of the profits he has so diligently earned through his backbreaking sweat labor to build this board to its present glory irrespective of your petty attempts to subvert his persevering drudgery.
empathy for Denny? That's a very unjlprk post there at number 3

translation...jlprk really misses trader Bob

One that plays the position, one that understands he might not be the best shooter on the floor, one that will look to set up his shooter.
Mike Conley would be good but there are several that are not All Stars and their team might jump at the chance to land the Lillard Star.

Mike Conley, interesting but I don't see the Grizz trading him.

Who else? Name names, dammit! The House Committee demands you name names!

Leonard play against Gasol

I saw Leonard play and enjoyed the hell out of it. He is the hope on this team and perhaps a new guy or two that I know little of yet.

Speaking of Leonard, I saw Damian look at him wide open, and then take the shot. Missed it of course. Holy hell, Leonard was shooting like 75% and Damian takes it instead.

But unfortunately, I see them spending a lot of time watching the Star go for the big game and that isn't going to get them playing much basketball.
So you think Dame is selfish, or somehow only cares about having big games? Cmon dude.

He should have known Lamarcus was going to leave, He should have know why Lamarcus was going to leave. Managers that are blindsided have not been doing there job.
LAMARCUS didn't even know what he was doing, how the hell could Olshey have known? So you're saying you would've traded LA before the end of this season, breaking up a great core because you assumed he was going to leave, while having no viable signals that he actually was?

Why was Lillard jacking up threes and missing them the last half the season, Why did he do it all through the one series in the playoff only hitting .116. Wtf was the man
in charge doing letting this go down?
Lillard had an inconsistent year shooting, but he's still a great shooter who shot 39% the year before. You seem to suggest you want him to stop shooting all together, taking away one of his strengths just because of some struggles at times. Thats ludacris

Well Fuck! Name them all! They ought to jump at the chance to land the great Blazer Star, Hey! Maybe not the Warriors.

So you're saying you would've traded LA before the end of this season
No! I would have fixed what ever was causing this team to be so disfunctional. Trading players is not the only part of the GM's job.

Thats ludacris

I don't think so. He shot more three point shot than anyone in the NBA and he was not even in the top 20 on makes.
He has better shooters on the floor with him, I expect him to use them.

Lamarcus Aldridge is not walking through that door. Wesley Matthews is not walking through that door. Nicolas Batum is not walking through that door. Robin Lopez is not walking through that door.
No shit Sherlock.

Is there a point to this? (coughcoughtrollcoughtrollcough)

OIC

What can I say I've been out of town.

To not see the insincere trolling here is to be willfully blind.

Thanks Sly for taking out the garbage, and taking the heat for doing what's right.

THIS is exactly why I crack on rookies....... they should not be allowed to start threads until they have been here a certain amount of time. This place is back to being the wild wild west FAMS!

Wrong and Wrong

Damian was 2nd in attempts and 6th in makes for the 2014-2015 season...
Nope, Curry only passed Damian in attempt during his long PlayOff run.
And I should have said 3 point shooting percentage instead of makes.

No! I would have fixed what ever was causing this team to be so disfunctional. Trading players is not the only part of the GM's job.
You assume something was dysfunctional with the team. I disagree. It was LAs personality that drew him elsewhere.
So once you found out nothing was actually dysfunctional, then what?
Holy Hell! We waiting for Damian to get back 39% and all is well???? Damn man that is really following the piper.
You're acting as if 39% is a bad percentage... is 58% from 2 bad too?

You do the lord's work.

Well, who wouldn't do her work?

No, Curry attempted 646 3's in 80 games played during the regular season alone. Dame Attempted 572 in 82 games.
Damn I figured this dude was at least getting his stats right. Time to stop taking this nonsense seriously...

Lets ride the season with who we have. Its like listening to riders on the storm by the Doors.

Almost invariably, people who describe themselves as "realists" are pessimists who are entirely too sure of themselves.

Going in my quote section!!!! So true.
