ATCQ sampled the same beat, the original is apparently by Minnie Riperton called "Inside My Love".

The Beatnuts are great. That's not one of my favorites from them, but it's still hot. Grade: B

Awesome song, one of my favourite Pun songs, I prefer the original, but the instrumental on this version was sick.

I really don't know why, but I'm not feeling it to much. The lyrics aren't really attracting me, but maybe I might grow to like it after a few listens.

In my opinion, this is one of those hard to come by pieces of work. Great stuff.

That's an A+ on sweet dance moves alone.

Sasha, you're file got taken off. I figure I'll start this thread up again.

Busta Rhymes ft. Ozzy Osbourne - This Means War

I'm a big Busta fan, but that gets the slant. I'm never been a fan of rappers remaking classic rock songs. This, however, is much better than Puffy's version of Kashmir. C-

A+

That's a classic! Plus, me being a total Office Space nut, makes me love it even more. Good pick. Here's mine, ressurected...

It's the third track down, labeled "Mercury Rising."

Not sure if anyone posted this one.

Sasha- it's hot: A

Hustler- it's pretty good, loving the beat, but what is Kanye West doing on this track?: B

Magnetic North- Drift Away

Magnetic North: A

Beautiful voice but a weird song to cover in the hook... love the lyrics though... something gets me about raps about reminiscing... I know, it's weird, but I love songs like Will Smith's Summertime and Pete Rock's T.R.O.Y. because of the memories they evoke... this kind of does that for me too... not because I listened to it as a kid like those song but because the lyrics bring me back to that time...

New Song:

I like that song. Is it hip hop, though? Strange choice for this thread, but I give it a B.

I feel bad about posting an Eminem song, but this is one of my favortie songs. Ignore the stupid slide show (wtf is up with 2pac?).

No, but it parodied all the hip-hop video clich?s, so I thought it'd be funny to post it in this thread. Bad joke I guess, but I got a kick out of it.

I actually dont mind that RHCP song, sounds alot like their older stuff.

Huh? I thought they were having fun with an urban theme to the video. I don't think they were making fun of hip-hop at all. Anyhoo, it's a hip-hop recommendation game, so...

Ghostface Killah & Raekwon & Notorious B.I.G. - Three Bricks

A on the Hellbound track. Hot ****. Masta Ace is the truth. A Long Hot Summer was dope imo.

Nah, definitely a parody, hence why they pulled in Chris Rock to direct it.

Your video isn't showing up.

Uhm...haven't listened to hip hop lately, but this Ludacris song caught my ear. He killed the first verse. I dunno if it's been posted.

Royce Da 5'9" - Boom

Rap now is circus of clowns, a whole lot of lip from clicks I'll probably rap circles around

Can't find an unedited version

A, thats my favourite Royce song, Premo did the production if I remember rightly?

I like Onyx, but only sometimes. This isn't one of those times. The lyrics on this one are just so damn lame. I expect much more from Onyx.

Anyways, it looks like my Ghostface one got skipped over so here's some J Dilla...

^F - didn't like it at all.
