I like this song. Baby Boi is one of the more promising southern rappers, and it's got that really distinctive laid-back yet flavor-packed southern style to it. The guy towards the end (don't know his name) is annoying as hell though - squeaky voice.

Alright, let's kick it up a notch with one of my all-time fav's:

Ludacris - Saturday

Def. one of my favorite from Ludacris', absolutely love this song. Luda is probably my favorite rapper from the south.

This song always gets me hyped up. I ain't a big Buck fan, but I rock this.

D+

Never been a fan of this song, never been a fan of Buck, his stuff with G-Unit is better than his solo stuff I think.

Keeping in the South theme at the moment, here is some good South for you:

That's what I'm listening to right now. Haha! I was going to post it right after the last one, and then I saw it was what I was listening to. Nice taste. Devin the Dude is a fucking genius. Here's mine...

Hahahaha, when you said "If VC rates, he should either appreciate or absolutely hate the beginning." I had to check it out. I thought you meant that stupid song in the beginning at first, and I was pretty confused. I like the tribute though (because I like Busta and I like the song). One of my favorites of his, and I'm really surprised I never noticed that intro, because I was way into that song when it came out.

The YouTube video doesn't really do justice to that song though, because it used to be played all the time when I used to hang out at D&D (a club in Memphis that was the G.O.A.T. before it got shut down), and when the bass in that song would kick in you could just feel your whole body shifting... very effective and powerful bassline...

New Song:

David Banner - Cadillac's on 22's

No. A 2 year old on a keyboard could do Nas' beats and the songs would still be hot.

As for Dead Prez, B for that song, not a great fan of the song. I respect their political stance, just a bit too hardcore for me. I like em' though.

A+++

I was seconds away from posting that video myself. It's one of my favorite songs all-time in any genre. I originally found out about it through that Jordan commercial that was running in the late 90's, and that was the first time I ever listened to Mos Def, who's one of my favorite artists to this day. Very soulful song...
