I like this song. Baby Boi is one of the more promising southern rappers, and it's got that really distinctive laid-back yet flavor-packed southern style to it. The guy towards the end (don't know his name) is annoying as hell though - squeaky voice.

Hahahaha, when you said "If VC rates, he should either appreciate or absolutely hate the beginning." I had to check it out. I thought you meant that stupid song in the beginning at first, and I was pretty confused. I like the tribute though (because I like Busta and I like the song). One of my favorites of his, and I'm really surprised I never noticed that intro, because I was way into that song when it came out.

The YouTube video doesn't really do justice to that song though, because it used to be played all the time when I used to hang out at D&D (a club in Memphis that was the G.O.A.T. before it got shut down), and when the bass in that song would kick in you could just feel your whole body shifting... very effective and powerful bassline...

As for Dead Prez, B for that song, not a great fan of the song. I respect their political stance, just a bit too hardcore for me. I like em' though.

I was seconds away from posting that video myself. It's one of my favorite songs all-time in any genre. I originally found out about it through that Jordan commercial that was running in the late 90's, and that was the first time I ever listened to Mos Def, who's one of my favorite artists to this day. Very soulful song...
