Calm down nerds! I made the mistake of taking a nap on draft day and was late with the VC news and like a retard started a thread about it. I was actually cracking on myself by creating this. Relax!

Except it isn't funny, and it's unprofessional because you are a member of the Blazers organization. Maybe you don't realize this, but forums are now a part of the media. News is broken on forums all the time. If you want to be anonymous and post stupid shit, that's fine, but if you want to promote yourself as a member of the Blazers broadcasting team, you might want to censor yourself a bit.

Yeah, it's hilarious..... except I worked closely with the Blazers for three seasons, and having watched how things can blow up in their face, I would think that HCP would take it a little more seriously.

Example, I posted about a simple pickup basketball game with Greg Oden, and it blew up into the biggest story in sports for 24 hours. That was on a forum. But you're right... it's hilarious. :dunno:

Well considering Sebastian was long ago traded from the Blazers, it seems like it's a pretty harmless, yet lame, joke.

I'm starting to think that even when you're 80, you'll be regaling everyone who'll listen about the day you broke that 24 hour story on a messageboard... take yourself too seriously much?

Because it's been brought up.... what.... two times this year? Mostly by people other than myself? I was illustrating that things can get out of hand merely by posting on a message board. If that's not a good example, I don't know what is.

Anybody in the media who doesn't know that Seabass was traded 3 years ago deserves the humiliation that would come with picking up this story and running with it.
 
Ha. For some reason, I read it as "Bayless", and was thinking happy thoughts. Not that I want to dump Bayless, but that if/when we trade him, we're going to get a nice piece in return.

If it said "Bayless" it would be bad and I would have locked/deleted it.

I don't think many people will believe we traded (or traded for) Telfair at this point. :)
