Yep.

Regardless, of the players considered lottery picks, or around the lottery, only a few players names could be called that I would be pissed about.

1. Tyler Zeller - White center
2. Cody Zeller - White center
3. Myers Leonard - White center
4. Bradley Beal - Short SG
5. Damian Lillard - Too slow for PG

I'm curious to see what Beal's official combine measurments work out to be. If he's a legit 6'5" and has long enough arms (and good athletic measurables) I would't worry too much about him.

I think because he is a center. Martin, Walton, Bowie, Oden. Not the best track record for taking centers that high.

Davis is a Center in college... Terry Porter was a PF in college. We'll see how AD measures out in the predraft, but I'm guessing he'll come in shorter and lighter then LA did and will best project as a PF

It was a great line by Deveney, and one that was repeated during the Kentucky game over the weekend

thats a great line? One man's garbage is another's treasure I guess

AD would be nice for sure but something like this would open up so many possiblilties.

Davis came in at 6'10" with shoes 7'4" wing span and 214 lbs according to draft express. No idea when that was though?

Beal was measured at 6 '3.5" with shoes and a 6'7" wingspan according to draft express. No idea when those were taken though?

I saw something on his updated profile at draft-express that listed him as at 6'3.5" in barefeet.

6'4"-6'5" (in shoes) makes him pretty average size for a shooting guard and a 6'7" wingspan while not freakish is at least decent for a 2 ... I dunno, I guess we'll see what kind of times he compiles in the athletic testing.

I sure hope we dont take Sullinger out of Ohio St. Too slow and will not be able to post up in the NBA. I would take Henson from UNC over him with the 2nd lotto pick.

Sullinger's going to go higher than 12-9 anyway

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Bradley-Beal-5759/

has him at 6'3.5" with shoes.
Similar in size to Westbrook and Jarrett Jack

Everybody says that this is a great draft. It may be a DEEP draft, but if Anthony Davis is the prize, it's a bit light at the top. In 2003 he would have been about 5th or 6th pick, tops.

[And please, no "not bad for a 10 year old!" jokes.]

There's some people that have said he's the best college prospect since Ewing.

I think Perry Jones has a higher ceiling than anybody else in this draft, but he seems to be climbing the draft boards.

Jones was considered the #1 in this class last year. He's fallen dramatically because he doesn't seem to have any kind of drive to be great.

ive watched him a few times...he just seems like he is able to get away with being sloppy on the college level (losing his dribble, offensive fouls)...whether he will be able to get away with it in the nba is up for debate

He blocks shots he has no business blocking and never fouls. He averages like 1.5 fouls a game. He covers the whole court on defense because he just grew into his 6'10" frame and was used to being a 6'2" PG in college. Has a handle, has range, doesn't demand the ball all the time to have an effect on the game and he has the will to win.

I wasn't huge on Davis before, but the more I watch him the more I think he's going to be great. He already is a great college player and he hasn't even scratched the surface of his potential.

Out of all those guys the only one I'd be really pissed about us drafting would be Tyler Zeller. You don't know what your talking about Lillard he's not that slow.

I agree about Sullinger. After watching him go up against a legit 7 footer the other day, he reminds me a lot of Sean May.

yeah, he does seem to drift at times, but when he plays, he's unlike every other player in the NCAA tournament. I picked Baylor to win it all, just because I decided to go outside of the box. Kentucky/Baylor will be a great Elite 8 game.

I don't understand this statement at all. Weren't there better prospects than Ewing since Ewing? Shaq comes to mind.

I didn't necessarily agree with it. I heard that during a telecast during his game, I read in his SI feature and it was supposedly sentiment from a couple NBA scouts. I thought Duncan was a pretty damn good college prospect as well.

Yeah, I like Davis, hate the hyperbole from scouts. Wouldn't the best college prospect since Ewing, as a C, have at least SOME low post offense?
