Hmm.. how about running some high pick and rolls and getting Yao coming out to defend starting at the 3 point line?

The problem is, that kind of offense is really complicated. It's not like you can just institute that stuff in a week of practice or anything - you pretty much need a whole training camp to run it.

Besides, I'm not sure we have the passers for it. It works best when a majority of your players are good at recognizing where passing lanes are going to open up, and aside from Vince no-one on our team is that amazing at it.
 
If the Nets could just get this to a 8-10 lead before the half then that's a victory for me!
 
I blame this whole game on Violet Palmer. I read somewhere their periods attract bears. Bears can smell the menstruation.
 
Damnit. Rockets just come back and extend their lead after a small Nets run.
 
What is it with Brook and his NEED to go over-the-back? That last one didn't get called, but come on man...
 
I blame this game on Marv Albert, because he wears "Sex Panther" and 70% of the time....It works 100% of the time.
 
if they don't make some moves by the deadline, i'm not watching this team for the rest of the season.
 
Damn people.. we are a REBUILDING young team and are playing a veteran with championships aspirations club.. expectations much?

Ok, lets try setting a screen with Yao a few feet beyond the 3 point line. Get him defending far away from the paint and moving his feet. Drive into the lane. Yao drops back deep into the paint. Either a pull up jumper for VC/Harris, layup for VC/Harris or kick out to 3 point shooter (Yi or Anderson) will be available. That play should be run time after time.

Nets also have to pick up the pace of the game and try to get some easy transition buckets.

yeah, everyone and the marv is saying that. Yao is giving them open jumpers near the key. You would think Frank is smart enough to see that, he is getting exposed tonight.
 
Memphis is keeping up with the Lakers right now: 36-36. It's kind of impressive!

The only one exposing himself tonight is Najera. Those shorts are WAY too tight...
