We're getting blown out by everyteam in the league

This team is broken, we need pieces.

What about evan turner? Dude is awful.

I dont see how can we back home 3-2. We're already lost to the cavs. I just hope that we can win the 2 games in NYC, or at least one.

It's a long season, so maybe don't slit your wrists just yet. Yes they look really bad right now and have a lot of work to do, but that's part of the fun of sports -- getting to see what a team is made of when things aren't going their way.

Worst comes to worst, they really are this awful and need a house-cleaning trade, or maybe there's a coaching change at some point, or perhaps Allen gets weary of Neil Olshey and fires and hires another GM (again). Just to hedge your bets I'd maybe start watching some college games and following draftexpress.com to get excited about our upcoming lottery pick.

CJ is dribbling the ball and calling up plays to get Evan Turner situated for 3 point shots.

I don't even know what this is anymore.

We haven't been blown out by every team in the league.

Trade coming

It certainly seems like they need something. This team as constructed is so guard/wing heavy with bigs who don't play big. If Olshey was in the running for GM of the Year last year, what will this year bring with $150+ million spent on Turner, Crabbe and Leonard? That is all kinds of yuck!

"The Blazers have trailed by 17 or more points in five of the last six games, including a 48-point deficit to the Clippers, a 26-point hole to the Bulls and a 25-point hole to the Rockets. The struggling Pelicans, who entered Friday’s game with two wins, led by 20 in the fourth quarter."

Damn this team is beyond trash im sorry..

Honest to god I give Dame a lot of credit for even having this team at 7-7

It seems like they're not running any kind of offense, and have stopped trying on defense.
This.

Seeing Portland rank near of the bottom of all defensive categories isn't surprising. Frustrating? Yes. But with Aminu hurt and Ezeli injured, this shouldn't come as a surprise.

However, I've noticed our offense is hot garbage this year. Yes, we're putting up 106.7 points per game, but that has a lot to do with the brilliance of Dame and CJ. We're not moving the ball on a string like we have in the past and that dribble hand-off between the point and Plumee needs to lower in frequency. It's too predictable and half the time Mason ends up standing 20 feet away from the basket as the shot clock winds down.

With all the speculation that this summer's moves were done with consolidation trades in mind, you've gotta wonder what that does to the psyche of the team.
Exactly, these guys know at least a couple of them are gonna be traded.

We signed a lot of these guys based on their potential. So some would pan out and some would hit. Harkless hit.

We're a 500 ballclub in the west right now....and we aren't going to win a championship this season so this is not unusual for long time Blazer fans...we can only improve...I'm pretty sure we'll be active at the trade deadline

We're not out of championship contention.

Would be great, but I just don't see it this season KS...and I'm a diehard fan..too much talent at the top. We have to have 6 players scoring in double figures game in and game out and now we're lucky to have 2 players doing that

Exactly. Last year, they knew their place even if they didn't know their role. This year has now Had a year for scrutiny and rumors to take place. Half of the roster I am sure are playing very tight because they feel they might be in another uniform in a couple months. Hard to play comfortable with that in the back of your mind for sure.

and Harkless was a reasonable deal at 10 mil per, however the Crabbe and Turner huge contracts are "so far" proving to be a huge mistake and I acknowledge the season is young. Both Crabbe and ET both currently have negative trade value IMO as does Meyers (why we signed him I have no clue). Ezeli while a reasonable gamble at 7 mil for ony a 1 yr committment looks like a strikeout as well as we have no idea when he might play as he seeks a second opinion on his knee. So Neil is 1 for 5 and while Hark has looked solid lets not get carried away yet, the other 3 were not just "blah" they are a almost a 200 mil dollar train wreck and if these guys don't show significant improvement those contracts will hurt this franchise for years

mathematically no we are not and won't be for a long time, the "eye test" combined with common sense thinking at this time suggests we are out of contention, but of course miracles can happen and this team could use a few miracles
