OT How bout them Mariners (2 Viewers)

The two examples you used don't make sense, though.

Kelenic had a great start that year then fizzled. That reaction didn't make the team say he's gone. It was in aggregate.

That incident with Winker actually started the historic win streak and awesome vibes. He was loved until he wasnt.

But man, is there so much that needs to change. It's a permeation.
let me keep my theories why the Mariners are ruining the best starting rotation in team history. I'm pointing at the PR department. Happy family fun night with the best ERA in the majors ??
.... boooooo

A winker and kelenic apologist is a weird route to take. Those guys are both idiots and not even great ball players.
They're not superstars. But at least their batting average isn't below .180. So what if they're mean, they at least make contact

My last mariners game was pre pandemic. They have given me zero reasons to spend money on them and I will gladly keep not doing it

The last time Winker made contact with anything it was Anthony Rendon.

it was a mega dust up. He slugged a few Angels in that mosh pit. Someone creamed Coach Servais... it was probably Winker

"mm,yaa.. this one's not on Scott Servais."

Mike Blowers has been programmed to praise the skipper at all costs.

why not just say, "good pinch hitting by the Dodgers" ??

oh wait, it's Blowers. He was too busy talking smack about the Dodgers decision to bring in Heyward to face Munoz.

Blowers - "mm, yaa, the Dodgers are running out of options, now they have to dig deep into their lineup"

Justin Heyward walks to the dish, game tied 2 men on. ROOT posts his subpar batting stats. Heyward proceeds to wedge a 99mph heater over the right field wall.

I'm putting that loss on Mike Blowers. His grumpy broadcasting mojo is why the Mariners are in a funk.

Teoscar Hernadez finally got his "take that Dipoto" knock, steal, & scored.

Gilbert keeps spiking his screwgies. Dodgers keep stealing bases. Small ball, rough luck, and timely LA hitting is hurting the M's tonight.

Servais called in Thornton to relieve Gilbert with the bases loaded. First pitch was a meatball right down the pipe.... Muncy base clearing double

This year is over. Historically bad offense. I don't even know what they will do to regroup next year.

They’ll use Servais as a scapegoat even though a the management that’s incompetent

Dodgers radio said the Devil Rays got into a dugout scuffle. Someone clearly stole the wrong bag of bubble gum.

Haniger pinch hit dinger. Mariners cut the lead in half 8-4.

I tried watching AJ Peirzynski discussing the bad month for the Mariners. His rando podcasting buddy was soo annoying, I had to shut it off. Blah blah blah blah generic Front Office excuses that were entirely wrong.

a podcast called Mariners Mojo briefly discussed absolutely nothing about why Scott Servais should get fired, or who the bad hitters in Seattle are.

Then they sleazed their way into throwing "bad pitcher" George Kirby under the bus. Stop it, just stop. Reality is a tough pill to swallow for armchair GM's on YouTube.

the worst excuse I keep hearing for M's struggles is "the relievers are tired". That's a bunch of horse dookie.. I'm pretty sure Seattle is near the top in quality starts.

i tried to get nerdy and look up quality starts. Logan Gilbert leads MLB in quality starts. Numero Uno

Castillo ranked #8
Kirby #10
Miller #17
Woo missed some games, but I count 8 quality starts, and his radical 2.12 ERA can't be ignored.

according to Whyachi rough numbers, the Mariners have entered games this season with a 65% chance their starting pitcher was going to throw an absolute gem.

Being that Mariners W/L record hovers around .500... any fake "reporter" who hints pitching problems in Seattle, is a blatant smooching attempt to hop aboard the deflecting criticism train.

the Locked on Mariners podcast is depressed... lol.

they probably spent the last 2 years building a bridge of excuses to keep Scott Servais out of hot water.

ESPN- "Seattle also fired hitting coach Jarret DeHart on Thursday"

... this dude had to go. Maybe Scott was appealing decisions to move on from Chumpy McGee as primary batting instructor? The GM had seen enough hitting slumps. Fire "Team Servais" was warranted.
