Julio is just not there. Swings at everything. His superstardom appears very unlikely unless he turns it around next year. The team just doesn't have anyone that can hit and that is 100% on Dipshito.

All of the pitching talent will want out. Being a Mariner is killing their numbers and chance at being historically elite. Nobody cares about also rans.
 
Really need to get at least 5 of the next seven if we want to have any hope of salvaging this mess of a second half. If our bats were ever going to get a little warm (hot is out of the question), nows the time.
 
Ty France has more hits in 1 month with the Reds (19), then his previous 2 months in Seattle (17)

put that in the "Why the Mariners needed new coaches" file.

season is over. team has no fight and a poor hitting roster. Dipoto should be fired the second after the season-ending strike out. Horrible management. Laughing stock of the league. An amazing group of healthy starting pitchers and that's it!

That franchise overvalues their 95 team and the 116 win team (esp the media coverage of said years), so this kind of stuff wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

But when it mentioned Ichiro coaching a team in Arkansas, and "sourced" Ken Rosenthal (whoever that is), I suspect that it's like when we jokingly say that a player added 15 lbs of muscle during the off season and credit it to Mike Barrett.

Mariners 3B has 26 RBI
D-Backs 3B has 86 RBI

The Mariners GM traded the 86 RBI 3B to the Diamondbacks, for an aging backup catcher who hit .154, and a bullpen righty who was stuck in Tacoma all season.

Now... the owner did save about 7m in payroll expenses, therefore the successful business pioneers can say Seattle's GM is doing marvelous work.
 
So i turned that game on in the bottom of the 9th with one out. The A's had runners on 1st and 2nd. Score was tied. Thought maybe i was going to see extra innings? Nope....
 
I checked out last week. If they aint trying, I aint watching.

You know that little plastic thermometer thing they stick in turkeys on Thanksgiving? Yeah, that thing has popped out. They're done. Lanny is salivating up in heaven over how crispy the skin is on that Mariners turkey.

3B Chapman resigned with the Giants. I guess the Mariners were sending out memos showing interest. He's hitting about .250 with 22 taters.

Seattle currently has a coagulation of 14m for 3rd base players going into the offseason. (Rojas/Urius/Moore)
 
Twins are falling apart. They've lost 4 straight games. The Mariners are currently tied with the Red Sox and Tigers for 3 games back in the wildcard hunt.

Seattle plays the Rangers a million times, with sets against the Padres, Astros, Yankees & A's.

Red Sox have a long road trip, good luck with that Boston.

Twins & Tigers both have a mixed bag of good teams & bad teams left on schedule.

it's a playoff race, not too shabby after Seattle was in complete chaos just a couple weeks ago.

I will just laugh if this team gets hot right now. So frustrating.
 
as the Padres were pulling away 2 nights ago, a Mariners radio guy found an oddball stat, and comped Vlad with Urius... what the heck ?!

fake stats with Tom Haberstoh in Seattle. That's not a good sign. Possible teardown and rebuild pending....

someone drew an advertising mural for ROOT's Mariners Season Ticket commercial.

It honestly looked like an A.I. generated picture. It has Raleigh in gear catching, Rodriguez in the background shouting, and Gilbert looks pudgy with his hand reaching for something unknown.

meanwhile Eugenio Suarez is hitting .500 in September with 7 HR, 9 RBI

Suarez replacement Rojas is hitting .200 in September with 0 HR, 0 RBI
