Detroit conceded the win, because they didn't want to face Munoz in extra innings. Can't say I don't blame them

I'm so use to the game in progress at 2:45 pm (or over if they are on the east coast) and remembered it's on ESPN tonight. Wonder how often it's happened where a team is shut out for an entire series.
 
Mariners fans always want to blame the teams hitting woes on the ballpark. In 2001 when they finished with the most wins ever they hit for 2nd in the league in BA.

They have since moved the fences in.

The notion that it’s somehow the park as to why they suck at offense is something I’ll never be sold on.

it's NW sports. There will always be a deflection narratives. If you want wins, hop aboard a college team that's playing well. For example, Ducks & Huskies football can peel off 10 wins in a row. That's 2 1/2 months of uncut winning happiness to suppress fan complaints.

Behind the center field wall of every baseball stadium, there's a huge canvas that is usually black or blue or green so the batter can pick up the ball and spin, etc.

Ours, according to teoscar, is off. And it is indeed off, so it makes it harder to pick up the ball. This has been verified. Just have no idea how hard it is to realign something that big.

I don't remember the last time I've seen a player strike out 5 times. Just yikes.

He literally came back cause it was Sunday night baseball lol. Sit him again for a couple weeks. Only at 100%

George Kirby should demand a trade. It's already established Scott Servais squeezes too many innings from him. "Not your night? Don't care, you pitch when I tell you to pitch."
 
I did not have an 11 run outing from Kirby on my bingo card now or forever. Holllly.
 
They did the most mariner thing ever. Be really fucking impressive and then just get annihilated directly after.
