Hell no. He hasn’t even pitched in a year. He’s far worse. And I love me some Ohtani.

Thats... quite an argument. Not a good one, given that Ohtani has years of experience to Skenes who has 1.

If skenes keeps this up for 5+years then yes, maybe the argument can be made.

But today? In 2024? There's no rational argument for skenes over ohtani.

But, you could start a podcast. That hot take would most certainly go viral! Lol

Royals are choking, lost 5 in a row. The AL wildcard hunt is getting wild.

It’s too bad some people can’t handle the truth.

Coach Servais last 27 games, 10-17
Coach Wilson first 27 games, 16-11

I haven't looked at runs or stats or any of that, but one thing is clear...

Edgar Edgar Edgar !!

Tigers & Twins both own tiebreakers with Seattle. Not the Royals. SEA & KC tied their season series 3-3. If there's a tiebreaker, I had to look it up...

2. Intradivision Record
If the head-to-head record is also a tie, then the involved clubs’ records within their division will break the tie. This applies even if the tie is for a Wild Card spot between two teams that do not reside in the same division. The team with the superior intradivision record would win the tiebreaker.

We'll need Angie Mentink to figure this math out. Mariners have 6 games against division opponents to finish their season.

Twins, Tigers, Royals all get the day off. Seattle is a lone wolf in the wildcard hunt.

Let's hope that continues. My Braves have come back to life just in time to challenge the Mets and D-Backs for the NL WC, and they close the season hosting the Royals. Would love for KC to just roll over in that series.

Man, the Mariners are done mercifully.

BUT with the rainout from the hurricane earlier this week they are doing a doubleheader for the mets/braves. The only two games left of the regular season.

The Mets, braves, and Diamondbacks are all tied for the last two playoff spots with just the doubleheader to go.

Here's how it works to clinch for each team:

Mets: split the two games or win both games

Braves: split the two games or win both games

Diamondbacks: one of the two teams LOSES both games. That's their only way.

Wild fucking finish.

It's why baseball will always be the most superior sport without question!

I'm glad that trainwreck of a shit stain of a franchise had another shitty season.

Fuck them and the horse they rid in on.
