Can we finally get a team here so we can stop cheering for the Mariners and Seattle sports
I’m serious when I say this. Not one contractor has even spoke to me about the possibility of building a stadium since last year. Current economic climate is pretty tough at this point. Can we finally get a team here so we can stop cheering for the Mariners and Seattle sports
I'm not surprised, Utah is clearly getting one of the expansion teams, so we'll be stuck cheering for Seattle and Norcal teams forever hereI’m serious when I say this. Possible.I think that, and as much as the location visually looks cool, is true. Plus, I still don't buy that it's a legit prospect.
I meant the location, if I wasn't clear.Possible.
Karma? Fans should not have cheered when their player was hit/hurt by a pitch?

Yeah that is a possibility. That very well might be the case.I meant the location, if I wasn't clear.
Well. You actually have it backwards. The idea has always been to show they were capable and willing with financing in place and a deal available. Then the league needs to make a decision. It's very possible the league will pass over Portland and choose Utah, Nashville, Charlotte, even San Antonio before Portland.bc expansion hasn’t been announced. The plan all along has been nothing will be started until Portland gets announced..
In fairness to the fans ... Springer is a hated figure across much of baseball but especially in the AL West for being a massive part of the cheating in Houston. Still don't like the cheers but also if you've ever been to a Blue Jays game in Seattle, it's a weird rivalry where all of Canada gets behind that team and the fans flood down from BC. I've been to two games against Toronto in Seattle and will never go to another one. Plus the guy just has a face you'd love to punch!Karma? My sister went to games in Seattle and Toronto this year, and they said both fans treated them like shit. Including a lot of childish stuff. In fairness to the fans ...
