Bulls are a complete dumpster fire internal struggles as well as a total lack of winning or direction (sounds eerily familiar) is there a way we can see him in the correct shades of red and black?

Crabbe + Harkless + 2 2017 firsts for Butler and Rondo. Who we could send to the cavs for a second rounder or something as an F U to the Warriors

Who says no?

Chicago.

Chicago hangs up the moment you say Crabbe.

It takes CJ at bare minimum. Just because it's a dumpster fire doesn't mean they aren't going to salvage the goods. Jesus, be realistic.

My guess is that both Crabbe and Harkless have much lower values around the league than what we ascribe to them on these boards.

Leonard, Harkless, CJ, 1 pick, and maybe Davis for RoLo + Butler (maybe Portis, too?)
is more reasonable (but maybe not reasonable enough for either team). Anyway, it makes us older (which is good for us) and Chicago younger (which is good for them).

RoLo
Vonleh
ET
Butler
Dame

CJ
Wade
Harkless
Gibson
Davis/Biebs

Replace Leonard with another first round pick and this starts to become realistic. Leonard has negative trade value at this point as well--no one's spending $35M over 3.5 years for a guy who's currently doing nothing particularly well and has now been in the league long enough for his prospect status to wear off.

They can get much better assets than Crabbe, Harkless and two first rounders which are not even top 10. Boston would easily give them the Brooklyn pick and Crowder, possibly even both Brooklyn picks and add one of Rozier and Smart.

1) U hate Leonard, I hate Leonard, but it's possible not everyone does.
2) RoLo is their only list C, they need another back.
3) Need Salaries to match, possible, but harder to do without Biebs.

Yeah, I missed the Lopez bit. I meant just for Butler.

I don't hate Leonard, I just don't think he's nearly good enough to justify his contract and his youth isn't sufficiently exciting when he hasn't been improving over the years. Sure, maybe a GM thinks he's awesome but I can only go by what seems logical to me.

Philadelphia could offer them something and it would make perfect sense but their picks are worth much less if Butler goes there because that will make them a playoffs team. Two picks plus Okafor might be tempting for Bulls though. They would probably be tanking for a while trying to develop new picks and Valentine, Okafor, Zipser.

Butler in Philadelphia would be pretty damn scary. If they can find just a reasonably competent guard to defend opposing point guards and knock down some open shots, they'd be pretty set up for a long run of success.

It only makes sense if we keep CJ and Dame and give up Turner.

Hell yes for Butler but Rondo can kick bricks. I don't want him on the team.

We would send Rondo back out or waive him.

I'm not so sure. Rondo seems like he is tailor made for Stotts' flow offense due to his passing ability. I think Terry would try to fit him in.

I posted this in a different thread a while back. I will repost it here.

Somehow trade CJ for Jimmy Butler, then trade anyone not named Dame for Noel. ;)

It won't happen, but you may as well shoot for the moon, baby!

I have no idea what it would take to trade for Butler. Begin with an offer consisting of CJ, our 2017 first round pick, Cleveland's 2017 first round pick and go from there.

Getting Butler would be a dream come true.

If we could keep both Dame & CJ, I would make the trade taking back anyone they want to send, give them any of our others players they want, and draft picks.

Butler needs guards around him that can shoot to spread the floor for him. That is the problem the Bulls are having, no one for Butler to dish the ball to when he gets doubled. Dame & CJ are the perfect guards for Butler.

I would not trade Dame for Butler. Butler is a top 10-15 player, but he is not a great floor leader. We would still need Dame to run the team.

If we have to trade CJ, we better keep Crabbe as an outlet shooter.

Do we really want a cornerstone player who would purposely sandbag a game the way Butler did last night?

There is a hurricane size shit storm brewing in Chicago. It involves everyone hating on each other. It involves every player, the coach, owner and front office personnel.

How do you explain the coach benching his best players (Butler and Wade) at the start of the game last night, just because they called out the younger players for not playing hard enough?

It will be interesting to see who will be left standing at the end if this storm. If there is an end, or anyone left. It maybe time for a complete remake of the Bulls, from locker room to front office.

And yes, I want Butler, his game was off last night, but with good reason. The Bulls have zero chemistry.

Don't want Butler but I like this thinking. Need to turn a few of our players into one better player. We're too deep with players on the same level

How do we get Jimmy Butler?

We don't.
